I agree with keeping it all out.

Is teaching that religion is an important and fundamental social construct ok? Kids see all these buildings with crosses, and stars and moons and spires all over town. And probably wonder what goes on in them, if their parents don't bring them or mention them much.

And it's ok for middle and high school students to start learning about alternate lifestyles in the modern west as well.

But having a drag show, is akin to having a preacher. Neither should be allowed.

I would like to propose some changes.

1 One parent of a student must attend the all classes. This is mandatory and the parents rotate this and report to all other parents with children in the class. Up to five parents of students in any class can attend any time as they want without any permission of any administration.

2 The gun classes must be mandatory as an introductory class on familiarity, operation, and safety as the most important part. Parents are encouraged to attend and the class is available after hours and on weekends for parental convenience.

Everyone must actually attend a range session where they have the option to fire a few rounds from assorted weapons including at least a pistol, a rifle and a shotgun. Firing the guns is not mandatory but attending is.

A mandatory gun experience. All will witness a simulated analog toaget, ballistic jell with simulated bones and organs, actually getting shot and examin the damage. It will be more informative than watching a video. This is for all students and any parents that want to attend.

3 Change the name to 'introduction to all religions'. Have one week of stude on each major religion by gust instructors from them all and not someone's openion on what a book says about a particular religion. This will include Wicken and atheist teachings for one week each.

This class will concentrate on the beliefs and practices and not try to indoctrinate anyone.

1 is for all grades. The others are for middle school with actual shooting classes optional in high school. The introduction and safety should take a week in middle school with a day for the range and demonstration.

This seems reasonable to me for a safe and informed society.

For like the 5th or 6th time, I agree.

We raised our kids neutral on religion. They were all allowed and encouraged to go to church with their grandparents or other family, and we never told them what we believe (nothing). One of them still believes in God, and goes to church, and she's the gay one so of course that's an inner struggle, and she has to hide it from her dad and his side of the family (she's my step daughter). They don't have to wonder what's inside the walls of those churches.

We have that class. Mythology. It covers all major modern and ancient religions. It was a really fun class.

There are a lot more important things to learn in school than imaginary religions though.
Religion can be covered in sociology class.
Keeping kids alive is a good start.
Firearm safety is huge and in the same class as power tool safety.
...general household safety is huge.

Influencing alternative sexual lifestyles in asexual children is absolute vomit.
A pr campaign significantly increasing children self and parent/teacher identifying the child as a different sex is a whole new level of evil.

Are you implying that the school shootings are sanctioned activities by the school, as are the drag shows?

The issue seems to be kids are being taught and shown things not approved by the parents. Rather than acknowledge and understand the grievances, the parents and students who don't approve are being labeled bigots, terrorists, and security threats because the current administration agrees with the queer agenda.

For me, sex ed was in 5th grade, and we learned how straight people make babies, complete with pictures of dicks and vaginas.

You can't influence people to be queer lol it doesn't work that way. Nobody cares that you don't want them to exist, they're going to exist. You can't keep kids away from them, so why is it so wrong to tell them what they are, and that it's okay. I was raised to believe that all queers will burn in hell. Then I grew up, stopped believing in fairytales, and stopped hating people for being different than me.

The concept of gay confused me my entire childhood because I was straight, and taught that it was wrong. It's not wrong, and it's okay for kids to learn that men can be attracted to and love men, or women and women, at any age just as they learn about straight attraction pretty much from birth. Our kids aren't confused about it because we didn't try to shelter them from it, or tell them that it's wrong. When our daughter did come out to us, she thought that we were going to be mad. We laughed, and said, "duh". It was obvious from a very young age.

To my knowledge, our school district doesn't have sex ed anymore, so what is it that you think these kids are learning in school?

Lol what are you on about? Everyone lies, my worst crime in my life was a dui 22 years ago, and I am a hard worker who has never stolen anything.
