so regardless of what is said your only going to focus on that detail?
The frequency of the events are related to population density, and the effects on population are greater in other countries. And some of these countries have strict gun laws (ok maybe not Venezuela)
Even after we both acknowledged that there is a certain level of "crazy" that should be addressed.
we can look at other information for perspective:
Global comparison of gun policy
and then compare it with ,
Global comparison on health care
Just in case you want to compartmentalize which type of health care
Mental health care

Welcome to ATS. Someone will be here shortly to tell you how more guns would have stopped this from happening.
Mental health screening prior to gun ownership would be a start

Murder is already illegal.
What gun laws would have stopped it?

Officials say that incident began with altercation between two groups Hollywood officials say that the incident started with an altercation between two groups, which escalated with shots being fired. The news station says that one person was taken into custody and one suspect may still be on the loose after the incident, reported CBS Miami.
Florida beach shooting - live: Nine victims shot at Miami’s Hollywood Beach in Memorial Day mass shooting
in other words crime that happens everyday. not your nut job or terrorist deal. for example 44 people shot of which 9 were killed in Chicago over the holiday.
criminals are gonna find a way, be it bats, hatchet, knife, car, brick, full beer bottle, you name it and somebody will figure a way to kill people with it. oh and i almost forgot hammers, there was one fella that was singing, if i had a hammer, i'd hammer paul in the morning, i'd hammer nancy in the evening.

What in the heck is even meant by MAGA Conservative...?
I agree with many of the supposed beliefs of these so-called "Maga Conservatives"...yet I did not, even once, consider voting for the Donald...
Just wondering.
If you are not a democrat, and dont fully support the war in Ukraine or are against trannys teaching kids at school, or dont want biological men competing in women's sports or Didnt bow down to BLM during the summer of love Or are not vaccinated
Then YOU ARE THE ULTRA MAGA CONSERVATIVE
Welcome to the club
CHICAGO -- It's been a violent and deadly Memorial Day weekend in Chicago with at least 53 shot, 11 fatally, police said.
The shooting victims range in age from 2 to 77 years old, representing every part of the city.
The violence occurred despite a collaborative public safety effort that the new mayor hopes to implement all summer.

Are mass shootings becoming more common place, or just featured in the news more? Serious question, because they've been common place in a few big cities for years with very little media attention.
We do seem to be having more in places where it hasn't been a regular occurrence, leaving me to wonder what's driving it?
Would it be wrong of me to wonder if the millions of unvetted immigrants of a certain age might be a contributing factor? The U-Haul incident at the capital died out pretty quickly, leaving more questions than answers.
Your stats aren’t reflecting mass shootings.
Which are a different phenomenon.
Where are the mass shootings occurring?

health care...Oh no you didnt.
I did, but in doing so I am now guilty of using the same type of anecdotal evidence I am against.
While the health care issue IS part of the root problem, its only a portion of the pie.
There is financial disparity, racial disparity, educational...and lots more, but why?
In order to see the bigger picture we have to step even further back, WHY do we have this "disparity" in our society

I think if there's a rape we should just blame then ban the penis.

Won’t stop rapes. I have had a number of rape cases where no penis was involved.
Just like banning guns won’t stop people from killing each other.
When it comes to killing, man will always find a a way.

That's quite the BS answer.
1. Who would pay for it?
2. Who would conduct it?
3. Who would oversee it?
And since it's for a "Right" why not have mental health screening before you vote, or before you speak.
