WILKES-BARRE — An attorney advocating for a low-end sentence for his client on charges of possessing child sexual abuse materials blamed QAnon, a political movement that centers on conspiracy theories.

David Sciandra, 37, of Market Street, Pittston, was charged by Luzerne County detectives in August 2022, after a search warrant was served at his residence based on a Cyber tip involving two video files involving girls.

Sciandra initially denied he downloaded child sexual abuse materials and claimed he would open various files sent to him and some of the images were child pornography, according to the criminal complaint.

A forensic analysis of Sciandra’s cellular phone uncovered a vault file where the materials were saved, the complaint says.

Sciandra’s attorney, Michael I. Butera, said his client was “obsessed with QAnon,” the political movement of conspiracy theorists, and was self-investigating websites that harbored child pornography.

“He went online to try to find proof,” Butera said during Sciandra’s sentencing hearing before Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. on Thursday. “Unfortunately, he was misguided and misinformed by conspiracy theories.”

Butera described Sciandra as a “contributing member of society for his entire life,” in his bid for a probationary sentence.

Assistant District Attorney John Carroll argued for a state prison sentence indicating Sciandra has downloaded images of child sexual abuse materials for nearly a decade.

Sklarosky sentenced Sciandra to six-to-24 months at the county correctional facility on 25 counts of child pornography. Sciandra pled guilty to the charges May 8.

Sciandra must also serve five years probation and register his address as a sex offender for 25 years under the state’s Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

Hello my friend! Real life has been busy for me lately so I have been bingeing my "catch up" reading in the thread. Thank you and everyone else for the vast info. that has been coming at us for the last several months. I have to say that I do think there are more awake than TPTB think. I talked with friends yesterday and this is what they said....... wait for it........"Well It looks like your conspiracy theorist and theories were right." They actually said much more and were asking questions in which I believe I was able to adequately answer, but that one line sums the convo up. I've posted my frustrations on here in the past in regards to explaining what we found in here to real world friends in a manner that would enlighten and not overwhelm, so it was good to see and I hope there are more conversations to come.
I am anxious to see what happens this week with the speaker of the house position.

I have tried a different approach at trying to get people to not take the booster jab and it works like a charm. Instead of telling I have asked them questions such as exactly how was the CDC able to ensure that the jabs were manufactured with consistency when the inspections were conducted remotely. This gets into good manufacturing procedures. This of course causes some alarm especially because the jabs were developed so quickly.
Then they notice that some of their friends or family members had some adverse reaction but they didn't. Kind of proves the point. Then I follow up with thank goodness that you dodged that bullet- Russian Roulette kind of conversation, if you know what I mean.
The VAERS is so under reported because when I do bring that topic up people don't even know it exists and they feel that oh well I had a reaction but it wasn't too bad.

People are very cautious now about these jabs.

From the book "Moonshot" by Albert Bourla he discusses that Pfizer came down to two viable candidates and they weren't 100% certain which to go with. They went with one but then introduced the second 10 days later.

As for the relationship between Covid and blood type, early in the plandemic they were trying to scare monger that type O people were to be avoided because they were spreading Covid or were catching it more easily. There were so many narratives at the time swirling around but that one was going to be quite divisive. Can you imagine having blood ID cards along with the Vaccination cards?

I would imagine that they had their hands full just trying to make Covid and the jabs, so I don't know exactly what benefit to add on some other spice to the sauce.

But who knows. We learn new details about these miracle jabs daily.
