Target Joins The 'Go Broke' Club as Conservative's Boycott Store Over Children's Clothing Range

So people supposedly have been recorded or recorded themselves going around harassing Target employees over LGTBQ pride clothing.

I doubt this is an attempt to normalize pedophilia as some people are stating. More like LGBTQ designers creating products and Target selling said products because they think it will sell.

Which it may. Controversy sells. This created headlines with right-wing backlash and will likely get some people to buy it.

Toddler trans clothing are clothes that aren't typical boy/girl colors? That one i dont get. Who cares if a boy or girl doesn't wear standard boy/girl colors.

Clothes with pro-lgbtq labels are a little much, but certainly not pedophilia.

I think its an overreaction. I mean, just don't shop at Target if you don't like it. There's a lot of other places to buy clothes.

Hopefully one positive that comes out of all this lgbtq controversy is that people start taking a more middle of the road rational approach rather than the extremes we're being pushed into of either total acceptance of everything queer or complete rejection and hatred.

Why do you need a toddler swimsuit that's "tuck" friendly? Or even just a baby-sized pride statement except to make the parents feel all virtuous.

Most stuff like that is generally kept to stores that specifically cater to a chosen demographic. You find Christian stuff in Christian stores; if you want to make your kid a political statement, you got the politician's website ... So why do so many stores feel the need to cater to this demographic? You actually find less Black History/Afro-centric stuff than you find Pride stuff.

No, not at all. I do think harassing minimum wage workers for a silly clothing line is being a a-hole though.

I also think that calling every other LGBTQ thing "pedophilia" is over the top and diminishes actually pedophilia that goes on.

Do they really have a tuck-friendly toddler swimsuit? Cause that would be pretty bananas. I thought that was an adult thing. I could not find any child-size or child clothing that was tuck friendly.
