This reeks of someone trying to outdo Bundy's college dorm rampage. Possible serial killer who doesn't get his jollies with just one victim at a time any more?.

This whole thing is weird.
1. The FBI knew he was traveling cross country and had him pulled over. They wanted the cops to see if he had wounds on his hands. Why not just arrest him which tells me they knew long before and were watching him.
2. The dad. Watch the video of them pulled over and the cop knowing. This guy he did NOT tell his dad on a 3 day road trip in a car?
3. The sister. Was in a slasher film a few years back that is very similar to what the suspect did
4. DNA match from a genealogy site which was pretty cool actually.
This may lead to some other twisted things. The FBI not immediately arresting him is the oddest.

The biggest question is why did the media waste all this time? There are much more important things to discuss in the news. You have local politics, world politics, economic news, the border, etc. Instead they chose to babble on and on about this murder story even though the police had the guy from day one. They had a knife sheath, DNA, phone records, video cameras, etc. Why even dwell on this story for months? The story is the message. The story is propaganda. Or more.
In the eyes/mind of Fox News Executives, WHY were these 4 young people so special?

The source tells Fox News that members of the task force investigating the murders in Idaho – a group which includes the FBI -- had Kohberger under surveillance as he and his father drove from Washington State to Pennsylvania. Members of that task force, the source noted, asked authorities in Indiana to pull the pair over to get a closer look at Bryan Kohberger's hands.
Retired FBI special agent John MacVeigh said it is likely crime scene technicians had to first separate out the victims' and other people's DNA from the killer’s – which was a huge undertaking. "They're going to have to analyze that and they're going to have to go through every droplet and things like that. Because if the suspect cut himself, he clearly wasn't bleeding as bad as they were. So you could have one droplet somewhere, and you're looking at a room and there's droplets all over the place — you're testing every single one of them," MacVeigh said. Police ran the unknown DNA through the national CODIS DNA database but came up empty because Kohberger had no criminal history. That’s when sources say police had genetic genealogists upload the samples to a public database such as Family Tree DNA, looking for matching relatives.

1. FBI did no such thing.
2. No idea.
3. Yep she was in a horror flick.
4. Nope. It came from the family's trash.
Not that you're wrong - just saying those points have been refined a bit.
Things I find hard to believe - but I'm not knocking her? How is it the 'Roommate' 'heard something' 4 different times and did n-o-t-h-i-n-g.
When she finally did do something - she did nothing. She opened her door where she was met with a 'man dressed in black with a black mask and bushy eyebrows', she froze in shock (understandable) and then shut her door and locked it - WITHOUT CALLING 911.
The Police have done a fabulous job all around. I bet they're crowing over this and rightly so. What I'm in hopes of is there's a lot more to the 'roommates' story that will explain her actions and the police are continuing to stay tight-lipped.
