Judging by the camera footage at the hotdog stand, he was there to keep an eye on their whereabouts.

To me it's as obvious as day.

He may not have been the murderer, but I think we'll find that he assisted whoever did it by keeping an eye on their whereabouts.

His whole body was projecting the fact that he was busy doing surveillance.

I'm starting to think there's more than one person involved.

Was there toxicology done on the victims/ I'm pretty good with a knife but to kill 4 awake people would be a challenge , some would run others try and fight - These people had to be drugged or passed out . Even if they were asleep killing with a knife is not so quiet as you would think it would have to be a instant death for no noise to be heard .

they originally said it was an edged instrument.

then changed it to a knife.

i been around knives all my life and never broke one.

a ceramic knife maybe, but why even use/bring it?

that's why i'm thinking axe.

unless the perp was a ninja or assassin from a video game a knife makes no real sense.
to kill 4 people so quietly.

I have a question for people local to the area - During the news conference the Sheriff spent about five minutes going over each of the victim's pronouns which were the standard she/he. Was he just trying to be PC? I've never seen that before at a news conference?

well they said the 2 gals were in the same bed when found.

in one pic i saw. they looked pretty close and alike with the hair.

then there is the guy and girlfriend.

he does look good sized in the photo i seen with them, even if she was 5' he seems like 6'+

i don't buy this "jeopardize the investigation" thing.

the dog was in the house all through this? and ends up ok?

About the 'knife' ---->

Steven Goncalves recounted the moment Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt described the murdered students’ injuries as “big open gouges.”

“She says, ‘Sir, I don’t think stabs is the right word, it was like tears, like this was a strong weapon, not like a stab,’” Mr Goncalves told Fox News Digital.

He added: “She said these were big open gouges. She said it was quick. These weren’t something where you were going to be able to call 911. They were not going to slowly bleed out.”

Not sure what the Coroner meant by a 'strong weapon' - pretty silly way to describe it IMO. The person wielding the weapon described as strong? Sure. The knife being well-built or indestructible? Sure. But strong weapon? Anyway. That's just me.

So the police missed a glove that was found by a retired detective.

On Thanksgiving.

We're just hearing about it now.

"I actually found a glove and turned it, I pointed it out to the officer who was there securing the scene and they came and they collected it," he said.

There’s been quite a bit of speculation on the rumor threads about him—audio analysis of the food truck discussion, an odd alibi, anger issues, etc. Nothing confirmed to my knowledge.

The police cleared him early on, but I think they’re interested in interviewing some people again.

The biggest piece of confirmed information is the vehicle description, & they have alerted border crossing points to watch for that make & model.

I have my bet still on the Christ Church being involved... My kids that go to WSU talked about them for years.

This is interesting. That food truck is the most popular one there. Best mac and cheese in the world. It is only open like 9PM to 2AM,

Interesting videos. Thanks for posting those.
I knew about the extreme positions of Christ Church--desire for a theocracy, misogynistic and homophobic views, etc.--but I hadn't heard about the pedo stories (not surprised, though).
They're whacky for sure. When I was there (early 90's, when their meeting place on Main St was still a movie theater), they would always put on weird theatrical displays on campus--women wearing "my husband is my master" signs, etc. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, one of them informed me that Jimi Hendrix is in hell (I can still hear her screeching proclamation; makes me chuckle to this day). They loved to burn books from UI profs, debate profs about creationism vs. evolution, and so on.
I never actually knew anyone in the church, though.

What do you think the connection could be with this case?

I know students up there now, and the rumors are all over the place about hoodie guy. There's also a lot of conjecture about the timeline for the two victims who went to the party on campus (2nd video mentions this a bit).

WSU even puts out a list each year of the establishments they own and asks the students to not use them. They use the food and drink places to not only generate funds, but to also recruit. Where I think the connection can be is at least a couple of the students killed were from the local area and being women I wonder if they had any connections to the cult as in either their family does and they grew up in it and decided to leave or the cult recruited them as teens and they decided recently to no longer be a part of it.

Body-cam video with 4 people fast walking away from the murder house area. (Multiple vids all can be found on YT).

A lot of talk of an ongoing/year-long feud going on between 3 of the victims and a couple of guys and sorority house.

The white car/Hyundai is still being sought. Video of a 'white car' speeding by a convenience store in the early hours of the murder event.

Question arises if the murders were committed by multiple people - revenge killings?

That type of killing is on some other level. Pretty sleepy town and with two colleges where everyone is actually nice. Locals love the students and there is a huge pride thing. Being out in the middle of nowhere it is not like UW in Seattle that is kind of lost in the big area, the level of support is HUGE out there, so revenge killing at about the most extreme level one could do is really strange to even try to connect with there.

It's an interesting theory though - a couple of killers instead of just one...
After learning the extent of this ongoing feud between the victims and the two guys - and those guys both being known hybristophiles? Add to that one of the two men in question using steroids - which would explain the victim's injuries in at least once case (Kaylee)... Yeah, I could easily see dual killers.
Do I believe it? Let's say I'm warming to the idea of dual killers, yes.

I think I read the knife wounds are not all the same, so different knives... My son also told me it was considered a "party" house so the door code was known by many. We are also in the age where extreme people can easily find others like themselves on line and have deep discussions on their deviances or whatever.

You will be hard pressed to find a killing with a blade that included this many people who were not family. You see a mom or a dad lose it and kill there kids. You see a crime of passion and there are 2 dead. Guns. Yes. A knife? This is a personal killing with rage and emotion. It could be hate but shudder to think it could have been fun.

One person? A stretch. Rollings comes to mind. If you do not know the killing Gainesville 1990. It was a scary time for colleges. This killing reminds me very much of that. Except then you had rape. I have not heard that hear which leads to think was there a female involved?

This is different floors and different victims. I am thinking multiple people but it could be one. A real sick f'k. Again, one person or a crime of passion is one thing but to gut and kill 4 people and do it in a manner that other are not awoken?

Maybe this is not the first time they have killed. Too many questions. Going into the Christmas season I cannot imagine the parents thoughts.

Here's an interesting twist.

Maybe the killings were revenge-based, but not in the way we thought.

Who is Hannah Cleere?

A ******* user claimed the quadruple homicide is connected to Hannah Cleere, who was supposedly an ex-roommate and shared her dorm room with one of the Idaho victims. As per the claims made in the tweet, they bullied and harassed Cleere, who eventually took her own life on February 24, 2022. The user wrote, "Hannah Cleere took her life in February. She shared a dorm with one of the victims and got bullied. Her birthday: November 15."

The comments on more than a few social media posts - concerning Hannah and the 'bullying' were brutal. Along the lines of 'those girls got what was coming to them' - etc.

Bullying or not - no one deserves to be brutally murdered in their sleep. The flip side being no one deserves to be brutally bullied into an early grave.

I'm curious to hear if the Idaho Police address this issue.

I live 8 miles away from Moscow idaho and my daughter and I were following this story since it happened. Unfortunately my daughter passed away on Nov. 21st just 8 days after this incident and my heart goes out even more to the families of these 4 young people. It's one thing to have a child pass in their sleep peacefully but quite another to have them violently murdered in their sleep. This is a tragic story for sure but here's some real info for you all. Food truck guy was completely cleared and so was the boyfriend of one of the young ladies and so far there is NO suspect at all. I've heard them all so far even and up to a cartel hit but no one really knows.
This Thursday we had the Pullman P.D. swat team come to the WSU campus and kill a young man who had a rifle and was threatening to kill his roomates. Both of these college towns are in utter turmoil lately and it's making it harder for everyone in this area to feel comfortable.

Has 'THE car' been found?

Investigators in Moscow, Idaho are reportedly examining an abandoned white Hyundai Elantra similar to a car that may be linked to the slaughter of four college students last month. The car was found 450 miles from the home where housemates Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and their friend Ethan Chapin were found dead on Nov. 13. dailynews

Idaho murder cops now RULE OUT white Hyundai as part of college killing probe.

'The vehicle is registered out of Colorado and the female owner is not believed to have any relation to any property in Moscow, Idaho or the ongoing murder investigations.

There's 22 thousand of 'these cars - out there'... This one - isn't the one.

From the beginning, I've chuckled when 'people in the know' say the killer has to be male.

Tells me they don't know women well...

A super pissed-off psychotic whatever woman could have killed those 4 in their sleep with little problem.

And, in my opinion, a woman would have no problem using a knife over a gun.

So there.

Any of you agree?
