Im glad my mom didn't have an abortion. I should get her some flowers or something.

There is a special set aside just for that reason, it’s called “Mothers Day “

Basically, war is the governments way of aborting.
I mean, it's a waste of resources to abort that canon fodder too early...

Making a dam goes against nature, too. The argument does not hold, abortion is as old as humanity.
Why are there plants that induce abortions?
Many women die because they can't legally abort and have to go to more questionable practices for abortion.

Pretty much the same with my ex. She never told me that she was pregnant. She was a teacher and her Liberal friends talked her into aborting as if it was a requirement to join some kind of Women's Club. I never found out until I got the bill for the procedure. It wasn't as much her having the abortion as it was her not even discussing it with me. That's pretty much why she's my ex.

The potential life argument is very weak, because having sex with birth control is wasting a potential life as well. Its about when there is life and when not. You cant kill something that isnt alive.

I disagree. Birth Control is NOT wasting a potential life. To modify your statement a little "You can't kill something that doesn't exist."

The decision to ban abortion was religion-driven.

Millions of unwanted kids will now be born, destined to a life of misery, crime, hardship.

Well done, America.

When she finally told me, I was completely blindsided. I'd no clue, at all...none.

Shocked. Dumbfounded. Then very, very angry.

One day, I suppose, I'll forgive, but that day hasn't come--and I doubt it'll be any time soon.

I never knew him. Never saw him play. Never saw him start school. Or get ready for his first date. Teach him how to shave. Yet, there's a hole where he should have been.

He'd have been just about the same age as my youngest niece--who never got to meet her cousin.

You come across like the simps who try and get laid by pretending they are feminist men. Gender doesn’t provide you with rights and privileges other that another gender doesn’t have. Equal rights but only on certain issues is hardly equal...

I fixed one glaring error in your post, I do have a question though. Could you cite statistics for the many women who have died this way in the past few years in America? Should be well documented as a cause of death being as common as you describe in our modern world.

The baby would have thrived if not for the artificial decision of its mother to end its life.

How the hell do you know the baby would of thrived?

Children often don't thrive, and even more so, if the parenting is questionable, or economics come into play.

The world is fun of children, who are far from "thriving"
Hitler claimed the murder of minorities, disabled and others was the moral thing to do, to end their suffering in their suffering as they could not “thrive” in his eyes and the German people agreed too.

When babies have babies, and those babies demand socialism cause those babies aren’t nuclear babies, but are welfare babies. R risen by strong single independent woman with daddy issues, an poor choice in men, whom have multiple fathers due to their low self esteem, being a driving force to force men to Mexico, gay, or another woman’s arms…only repeat the same mistake again.

Seriously ladies be like Goldilocks, not hot, not to cold, just right.

I agree though, men don’t nearly have as much as a say about abortion, just like woman trying to hold a man down from running to Mexico. It actually being a legit descendent of his loins or another’s due to woman actions. All we do is just plant the seed an try to find something eat that could eat you, and this only Monday, as God intended.

Something has to be alive to be able to kill it, something might exist but isnt neccessarily alive yet, let alone be able to notice anything or have some form of consciousness.

Sperm cells can create live, move around and exist, yet you dont call it killing when theyre not in an egg cell...

I think there is room for some minimal compromise without getting into the extreme that once a sperm is in the egg its alive (or exists in your words) just like a baby or minimal developed fetus would be.

And I think most Americans would agree thats a nice middle ground of pro choice and pro life. Otherwise like now there will be states that still have it up to way longer and you can stick to a pointless extreme opinion that doesnt do much in reality because actual live fetusses and maybe even babies will still be killed by people in your state just not inside its states borders and in other states where it is legal. And on top of that every time in the future a state goes blue they will instantly implement their extreme pro choice policies instead of a good middle ground policy.

Sometimes being smart is better than being stubborn. Theres so much to win for Republicans here..

This is prob gonna get me hate-posts but....as a 1st Responder for years and years, just because you say youre expecting...is no guarantee youll deliver, go to term....This is not about the procedure. Its all about a womans exclusive right to her body. A woman's right to decide or not.

I said over and over....its not my call. How and why in the hell would I try and influence, disagree, argue with what can only be described as "life" and or "death" involving the health or continuity of both mother and unborn?

God makes that call individually. To the woman, for the woman. Ive always held women up there....because this....so far...has always been down to the women, and God Bless them all.

Hello frog453. Damn! Youve been here awhile as well! Well, you said it line 1.

"How do you possibly know the baby was going to thrive until birth? You have no way of knowing. You have no way of knowing what will happen to the mother while pregnant 40 weeks or during birth."

As EMT's? Just because someones pregnant is no guarantee to life. If Im transporting you...and water broke...still. No guarntee of life. None. We'll have to see.

And then born? Still no guarantee, tho the odds of survival quadruple every couple minutes.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion on the topic. Open discussion and understanding should be encouraged for everyone.

However regardless of someone's own opinion SCOTUS ruled correctly that it is not a Constitutional issue.
