Why Are Snakes Dying Off?

This is really bugging me and may be something or not.
Circling back to the book "The Premonition".

Joe DeRisi became involved with the snake die off of epic proportions, which occured between 1998-2002. To give this context this was the biggest mass die off since the dinosaur extinction event.
Using his Virochip he found the arenavirus which was odd but even stranger this "arenavirus had one genetic sequence in it that was not part of the arenavirus".

Time to think outside the box. The Chaos team conducted table top exercises prior to the "big event" but what they needed were some field trials that could take place under the radar. Most people wouldn't notice the disappearance of snakes and some would be rather relieved.

What if they used the snakes to practice on???
This part is even more disturbing if possible. The snake die off took place across several countries> the U.K., France, Nigeria, Italy. The U.K. is an island so that would be a tough one for the snakes to get to. This suggest a parallel deployment of the bioweapon, which I have assumed was used for Covid-19 as well, which would account for the rapid global spread.
Perhaps this was a test to see how different environments would affect the bioweapon. These people are just so sick.

I hear you. I keep coming across info that has such disturbing implications that if I wasn't somewhat psychologically prepared I would be paralyzed from moving forward to find more. I find some of it quite unreal. The level of planning, the amount of time, resources and the people involved is breath taking.
I guess through different medium we are being shown or as they say a picture is being painted for us and we just have to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
I keep thinking well there can't possibly me more, but turn another page and...

Yeah. I worry a bit about coming under a radioactive cloud if something bad happens to a nuclear power plant in Ukraine. But not too much.

Germany might go wonky. Then again, it might not. As far as I know, most of the continent has been stocking natural gas in their holding systems.

I could be wrong, but so far it looks like the societies are somewhat fatigued with the various crises but not yet ripe to completely collapse.

Funny, I think of the Vietnam war being clearly a Buddhist vs Catholic war, but it was never cast that way to the public.

There is a model where religious inspired warriors are indeed noble. Some periods of British history, warrior monks, maybe even Crusaders are decent examples, where others were much more Dark, like Imperial Japan, Maoist China, et al.

Always there is that matter of perspective though...
