IMO "Colorful People of the Fringe" tend to be friendly and understanding. They've had to fight for acceptance. I've only had wonderful experiences by myself and with my child.

Then there's the alternative: "You were born in sin and will go to Hell if you don't adhere to one of the 35,000+ different Christian sects." Oh, don't worry which one -- there will be a man there to explain it to you.

more and more in the USA its the Christians who are the fringe dwellers.
and one isn't saved by joining / adhering to a sect. Christianity is much more than that.

would you be up to a Jesus worship session? If not, that's all good. You can go to a drag queen story time instead. And in the US, you have that freedom. I hope you enjoy it, and you dress your kids up if that's what you choose. But just as you may find Bible study to "not be your bag", others may find, "Dress up and pretend you are the other gender" time, to be strange and not of their tastes.

So remember, when you are championing your favorite transgender to cross that hurdle, and chop off their dick, or mutilate their vajayjay, others may not be as excited and might even say so. *they also have that right*.
