No it doesn't. As written in its 1st draft, the ruling "returns this issue to the people's elected representatives". That means that the Federal Government through Congress could ban abortion or codify Roe V Wade.

So it seems this isn't a states' right issue after all.

I don't necessarily think it is bad, however like it has been brought up.
If your state doesn't allow it why is it punished if you go to another state?
I think that shows it goes beyond borders.

During the pandemic if people came from another state that was mask required and came here, they didn't have to wear masks and were not punished when they went back home.

Do states have complete right over you?

Nah, women just need to understand the consequences of sex and take a little responsibility instead of blaming it on everyone else. It takes two to tango, but the woman has the last say, she lets him in or keeps him out.

Because if you don't think of them as living, growing, humans, then you can do whatever you want to them.

Explain to me why impregnation is considered a human right and abortion isn't. By law, any consenting adult of any background with any qualification or lack thereof is granted the ability to reproduce but not the ability to terminate gestation. If I didn't know better, I'd say this isn't about enforcing family values but making sure the population stays at peak numbers regardless of how many children are removed and rehoused by the state. If abortion is unethical and borderline sinful because human rights, it reasonably follows that parenthood must be licensed and regulated by the state to ensure the maximum welfare of children nationwide...because human rights. Unless that kind of thing stops being relevant the moment they are born?

I'd just like to point out that according to the Left, no restriction on abortion is discriminatory against women since both men and women can carry babies.

The males of the species gets soo, offended when women dares to make fun of their private parts, I guess of tis an offence on the ego and a problem with the species males are defective.

Im not a fan of abortion. But don't have a lot to say about that in particular.

What I appreciate is that this might right the ship on one of the biggest cases of legislating from the bench that exists in US history. If we want to enshrine abortion as a right, it should be encoded in law.

Someone will come along and talk about how a poor woman who was raped or a victim of incest wouldn't have the means to travel to a state that allows it.

There are issues.

If you're just out to murder the unborn ... it can't be illegal in one state and legal in another.

Very very very slippery slope that one.

That's why the courts are utterly terrified someone will nullify the murder laws that are on the books.

Imagine dragging someone you hate across state lines to bust a cap on 'em.
