So why are those same Russian casualty figures being leaked onto social media in RUSSIA?

Could they be pravda ?

Uh oh.

Here's a free hint. Tell the Russian military to start doing basics like RECONNAISSANCE and they won't get ambushed so regularly.

Yeah. Russian casualties over 20,000. Easily believable, unlike the rubbish coming from Moscow ... 1300 or some other absurdly low count. That kind of daydreaming won't win the war for Putin.

Cheers

I suggest you pick up and start reading Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire as i already done in the past.

Read it a long time ago.

Here's a suggestion for you: Tell Putin to read it, HE is the one that doesn't understand actions have consequences.

Cheers

Details matter.

They're not winning.

They're holding.

And getting in occasional masterstrokes like sinking the Moskva.

Which is still far better as a performance than the pro-Moscow crowd here was claiming when the war started. Comments made like, "Ukraine's army will be finished in a week".

Cheers

but it is the Russian people who have to sort those.

You are still hoping that Russian people pull a regime change at home? and than what? another Boris Yeltsin gets installed as a puppet to US whose goal is to destroy Russia?

The majority of Russians remember very well when US puppet Boris Yeltsin was running Russia, his polices put millions of Russians into poverty and unemployed.

The US stole some of the resources for free.

But Ukraine ISN'T their homeland,
With that said its clear you know nothing of history. When it comes to Eastern Ukraine. Many of which have ties to Russia historically.

NO ONE wants to march to Moscow
No one expect US/NATO that wants to blockading Russia from Europe while they demand regime changes in Belarus, while using Ukraine agaisnt Russia and Russians.

Yep. And the Americans will sort those like they always do.

Russia's problem is they don't know how to sort their issues like Mad Vlad.

They're holding.

They are holding Eastern Provinces like Dobass.

Comments made like, "Ukraine's army will be finished in a week".

Ukraine currently doesn't have an air force. When it comes in the terms of air superiority Ukraine's does belong to Russia's air force.

Russia isn't interested in taking over Ukraine as some here believe or trying to re create an empire.

"historical ties" don't imply Ukraine should be Moscow's colony forever. The world changes as time goes on, you realize that?

Living in the past doesn't work. Tell that to Putin, he is stuck in 1985.

Russia absolutely intends to occupy Ukraine.

Too many loose mouths in Moscow (including comments by Putin) have made that clear.

Chirping that "it ain't so" doesn't change that.

But all is good. Kyiv knows what Putin and his clique are trying to do.

"Living in the past doenst work"

Yet you had no problems stealing land from Serbia, while living in the past for the Albanians, that is quite fine double standard in foreign policy.

Are you going to be supporting the Albanians claims of independence in Macedonia next?

Why does 'base' count matter?

Lots of our friends like having U.S. forces around for protection from countries behaving like russia.

Let us know when any of our 'bases' are used for territorial.conquest in a non threatening neighbor.

When it comes to Ukraine, i had followed it quite long while. Russia isn't the one that bragged at the little brother it was the US with their color revolutions in Ukraine that did.

When the far right started attacking Eastern Slavs for which you ignore them. Russia didn't do much in the past 8 years, Ukraine broke the Minsk agreement.

By sending their forces in Eastern areas hoping to re gain territories by force. They committed war crimes in the past 8 years.

killing children, families in the separatist towns, cities.

Why does 'base' count matter?

Its a given why currently the US economy is in the gutters.

Trump was only preventing it slowly.

The more bases the more issues the economy has.

Friends is a funny word when US spied on Germany.

Its all about Hegemony and vassals.
Its why Europe had allowed Iraqi war to happen. Because the vassal states had no rights to refuse their occupier.

Here's what it is.

Ukraine was looking more successful than Vlad's Russia.

Little Brother can't make Big Brother look bad

Vlad's feeling older and feeling the need to make a mark in the history books. Idea: Reform old Soviet Union with new name!

Unfortunately for Vlad, the Ukrainians aren't up for that.

See, Ukraine has charted its own course for 30 YEARS now. They're not interested in Vlad's fantasies about what Ukraine should be in relation to Russia.

Putin is WAY too late with this invasion. Had Russia invaded when Ukraine initially separated from the USSR, it would not have attracted that much comment. But now?

Putin is poorly informed and lacks critical judgment, Russian propaganda about him notwithstanding.

Cheers
