I do believe what the goal of NATO/US in Eastern Ukraine is quite simple. They are trying to drive out all the Eastern Slavs, Russian speaking Ukrainians in the east as something that the Croatians did to a Serbian town during the Balkan war in the 90s.

Political interests in the US need Ukraine to win, we continue to send billions in cash, that only leaves one thing.

They want this conflict in Ukraine to continue. The US and current admin still believes that Ukraine is able to win agaisnt Russia.

I doubt the reports that Biden admin would foolish send M1A1 tanks, F16s to Ukraine. When considering the consequences.

No, no. Little brother was already kicking big brother (and deservedly so) when little brother thwarted the coup-de-main attack on Hostomel Airfield. There was no international support at that VERY early phase of the war.

On the bright side you keep believing the same Ukrainian defense ministry that keep making up such quite ricdduls stats of the war.

None have the posted heavier death toll from their side which Ukrainian casualties is much higher than the Ukrainian defense ministry would report but arent able to.

Its why they are using mercenaries from Europe and US,
When they are running out of soldiers.

Ukrainian forces are sending their cannon fodder to the front.

Your understanding of the Russian (and Ukrainian) military is shallow.

First fact: NO ONE wants to march to Moscow. Russia has serious problems, but it is the Russian people who have to sort those.

Second fact: Russian military has traditionally been unenthusiastic about war unless Russia was invaded first. The current conflict follows that pattern.

I've no doubt the Russians would be tough ... in defense of their homeland. But Ukraine ISN'T their homeland, which is the entire point here. Russian Army goes home to RUSSIA and the war ends. Just like that.
