Making statements like there is a small percentage of Nazis there or every country has them is completely missing the point and minimalizing the situation.

I'd just like to note that this goalpost has moved since the start of the invasion. First it was preposterous to think there were any Nazis in Ukraine. I mean, their president is a Jew, that somehow proves no Nazis exist there right! Anyone who thought there was a single Nazi in Ukraine was a Putin apologist and pushing Kremlin propaganda.

Now it's changed to "sure there's Nazis, just not a lot of them."

By their own standards, everyone who has now acknowledged that fact is now a Putin apologist.

This is what happens when people can't just be honest from the start.

And I believe the X factor as to why there was such high support for seperaton was the radical nationalist groups who became very empowered after the maiden coup. If a group of extremist nationalists took over your government in a violent coup would you want to live under that new government?

Do the ends justify the means argument applies here.

Foresight isnt common in global policy. We, as in the US could simply be repeating all the same mistakes we made throughout the middle-east.

Arming terrorist to defeat enemies only to have them and the kids of the defeated generations come back, pissed and armed.

This is what gets me every time I bring it up. Sure every country has its rejects but those arent rejected rather embraced and given positions of influence and power...especially so over other citizens they have stated a hatred for and desire to exterminate.

And there is a metric crap ton of video footage...much of which is of their own posting to prove such...yet the same people seem to refuse to look or accept it as the fact it is.

I don't support either side, but our media is just propaganda. Lie, after lie,, cover ups etc, so what ever they say, I tend to think they are lying. Would our govt kill civilians to further their means? Oh yes the will.

So if people are believing Russia, who can blame them? We know our journalists are liars.

Well the Russian news is State sponsored. If you deviate from the narrative then you either lose your license or go to jail. Or both.

www.aljazeera.com...

If you believe the Kremlins news then that's your call.

One more thing: Since no one else has so far, can you explain to me how Russia is a more "free" country than the U.S or Canada? I mean, Trump hated Biden but he didn't have the old bugger poisoned..

I'm not saying Russia is more free, but a judge just ruled that the people who were labeled Nazi's, arrested, and had money and property siezed were legally protesting their Government in Canada.

You misinterpreted I don't support or believe Russian propaganda, any more than I trust American propaganda. I've never been to Russia, so I have no real knowledge of their freedoms.

Its pretty obvious our media is also sponsored, but I tend to think the democrats and China are pulling their strings.

The question is, is it because we don't like Joe that people believe Russia, and my answer is the lying media is to blame, not mindless, useless, Joe for people looking elsewhere for the truth.

People went to jail for one night. Property was not "seized" and if it was it was probably a rig blocking the damn road. Also some lady got stepped on by a horse.

To compare that with an entire country being literally incinerated is politically selfish, imo.

Cheers

What does the war have to do with Russia being less free than Canada. You're conflating issues.

People are saying that they don't trust any news that's anti Russia.
But refuse to look at the fact that Russia state sponsored media is the farthest thing from "free press" as you can possibly get on the planet right now.

Most are not saying they don't trust any that is anti russian, they're simply saying they can't trust those who are all in with Ukraine.

They've admitted they're just taking the Ukranian military's word on the reports. From the sheer fact that we know our has and will lie about the situation atleast some Russian reports are likely true. It's not about the facts themselves, but context presentation. Fact as in #'s, places context as in who, what, why, when.

If you think that what's happening in Ukraine is comparable to the shenanigans of the "TimBit Talaban" then you've left the path of reason.

But go off topic all you like, you obviously have free reign to do that here. (You must be special!)
