Ukrainians are collecting evidence as they clear areas where russia recently retreated, but the investigation will likely be done by the UN and they aren't fighting any russian soldiers right now.

Although I've seen reports that russia took an entire Red Cross team prisoner in the last day or so for trying to help civilians escape Mariupol, so maybe russia will start attacking UN employees too.

Germany is calling for the opening of sites to public organizations. I see no reason it wouldn’t be allowed. THAT would raise several flags to me.

I have access to satellite imagery, that gets updated twice daily in some places.
When I get back to the office on Wednesday I’m going to look into this.
Surely the Times can’t be stupid enough to believe people won’t verify any claims from either side.

I've intentionally been very quiet on the Ukraine-Russia war.

For the record i don't support Russia or Putin, i'm equally against all wars of aggression. My disdain for the bias in MSM is probably where you went wrong in contextualising and incorrectly summarising my opinion.

OK that would make sense, different mass graves dug by different groups.

2 members whom joined within 5 days of each other less than 2 months ago while commenting on only this topic really aggressively. That always makes my BS alarm go off, at least concerning threads like this. Reminds me of the old 9-11 threads.

I was here 10 years ago. I can pull up some old threads. I post off an iPhone. I can’t be bothered to jump accounts. It takes forever just to open an article here this site is so badly optimized for mobile. I rejoined because I knew ATS would be dripping with content over this. If directed at me.

So... when its 'probable' graves (their not probable anyway, they ARE there but you know, best use neutral terms until fully verified like they should) its the negative kinda 'probable', ie fake.

But when its 'probable weapons biolabs' with far far FAR less evidence, if any... its the postive type of 'probable', or in the case of most of you lot, 'definitely 100% true without evidence at all' kinda probable.

What the hell are people comparing the Iraq invasion WMD's BS, to this?.. honestly? Any stretch to be right i guess.

well, just remembered google maps is a thing. Seems there has been digging at the exact same location before the invasion. I would say cemetary, next to a church. Then again, cemetaries usualy come with tombstones and single graves are digged, not whole areas.

The report was that one of the mass graves was found at a cemetary on the grounds of a church, this part was known.

Certainly makes it more complicated though.
