Since you demonstrate limited knowledge on the issue and asking such questions Maybe prudent to try and expand your news sources.

If it was to stop Nazis aka Ukraine he only caused them to upgrade their military so now they are a threat to Russia and created the resolve against Russia. Effectively guaranteeing a powerful enemy on their door step.

If it was to counter NATO well now every country near Russia is joining and making plans for a Russian invasion. Hes destroyed their abilities to produce anything electronic and made Russia so dependent on China to survive that he's going to be losing territory to them.

And if that isnt enough their economy is teetering on the brink as he managed to get Europe off Russian dependence for gas.
the US is coming out like a bandit as LNG facilities come online thus increasing its power over europe. Everything he has done has been the exact opisit of Russian needs because he chased a dream of reuniting the soviet Union
