When people talk about prepping we are not saying War is coming to our door, although it might. We know that there are consequences for war even many thousands miles away. Prepping will have you ready for anything, job loss, illness, or the most likely case for many of us - inflation!!!!!

I’m not against prepping specifically, but what happens when you run out of supplies?
It might be good for temporary events that cause shortages but long term you need to be able to survive outside the system.

Forget about rice and beans. They are all carbs and not good for the health, plus they require heat to prepare (extra costs & trouble), and you need a lot more of those.
Fat has 9 kcal per gram. Carbs have only 4 kcal per gram
