In Eastern Ukraine all Ukrainian armor has been wiped out in the Izyum pocket by the Russian Air Force.

An entire column of Russian T80U tanks from the elite 4th Guards 'Kantemirovskaya' Tank Division were abandoned by their crews who walked away from their vehicles.

On Tuesday 15th, the Russian Defense Ministry announced Russian Airborne Special Forces (VDV) seized a large number of foreign weapons (Javelins) in the outskirts of Kiev, after battles with "Ukrainian extremist nationalists."

Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Melitopol and Kherson were under the full control of Russian forces.



Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, announced that that Ukraine was fabricating nuclear weapons using Plutonium stockpiled at Chornobyl at the Kharkiv institute of Physics.

Another Russian general killed in action trying to motivate unenthusiastic troops.

I saw one report claiming he was CG of the 22d "Special" (=special forces) brigade, another source states he was CG of the 150th Motor Rifle Division. Latter is possible as the 150th Division is subordinated to the 8th Army, part of the force attempting to conquer Mariupol.

Russian attempts to mitigate military manpower issues:

Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia has been forced to suspend the mobilization of certain categories of workers in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR) to maintain local governance but continues to conscript some DNR/LNR residents to replace Russian losses. The Ukrainian General Staff reported on March 15 that Russia has established mercenary training centers in Smolensk, Russia, and Homel and Bobruisk, Belarus.

Odesa:

Russia is unlikely to launch an unsupported amphibious operation against Odesa until Russian forces secure a ground line of communication to the city—which they are unlikely to do in the next week.

Captured weapons claim, six of one, half a dozen of the other:

The Russian Ministry of Defense falsely claimed Russian paratroopers captured Guta-Mezhyhirska late on March 14 and seized a cache of “Western” weapons from “nationalists and foreign mercenaries.”

Attempt to encircle Kiev is bogged down. Largest scale attacks are at battalion level.

Modern Russian army competence appears to be that of their army of World War ONE-- good human material, but poorly led and generally unmotivated. That noted, the ability of such troops to defend effectively should never be underestimated.

Americans were told that if they go to Ukraine to fight that they cannot pick and choose weapons nor where they will serve and in what capacity. They were told that the Ukrainian military will make those decisions, and rightfully so. Respectfully the guy seems pissed because he wanted do to his own thing (decide where he will go and what he will fight with). It does not work that way and they were told his before leaving. You want to volunteer that is great but be prepared. The Ukrainian military will send you where they think your needed most.

These guys are insane going into those ares with no protection or Radiation monitors and contrary to their comments about not touching something because its highly radioactive does NOT protect you from radiation.. Secondly once again they provide information minus the info that undermines their narrative.

For instance it is NOT a nuclear waster storage facility for the US. It was built by Holtec International, a US company with expertise in dealing with radioactive material from spent fuel rods - which is exactly why the facility was built. Solely to store Soviet/Russian spent fuel rods they left.
