Yes actually UK was putting missiles in ukraine and teaching them how to use it. Nothin fake about that. Besides I am echoing what the US foreign policy makers are sayint about the situation. Why dont you email them instead of shooting the messenger?

Absolutely Ukraine had a reason to worry. Equally Putin likely coveted this and other lost territories. But that doesn't necessarily mean that Putin would've been able to roll the dice and invade. Despite the Bond villain omnipotence the west like to paint him with, i imagine there are some around him that Putin needs to keep onside or risk a Caesar demise. Their compliance with this invasion must've been made that much easier to obtain by the knowledge that Ukraine could join nato.

Hypothetical why exactly? Mexico as of late has sympathised with Russia on the situation.

Because it hasn't happened, has never looked like happening and in all likelihood never will happen.
Thus hypothetical.

Mexico may have sympathised - it may not have as well, I don't know - but that in no way equates to saying its going to ask Russia for some missiles, nuclear or conventional, and place them anywhere near its border with the USA.
It doesn't suggest in even the most out there of imaginations that they are going to ask to enter into any military alliance with Russia.

And exactly the same applies with Canada.

The cuban missile crisis is as valid and relevant as it gets for this entire situation m, given the events that lead to Russia’s actions.

Its the only example we have which leads the vast majority of us to believe that if, and as pointed out its a MASSIVE BIG BLOODY IF, it were to happen the USA's reaction would be aggressive.

I don't think many people have ever disagreed with this.

You can make as many excuses as you like for US and NATOs expansion into the east and missile deployments.....
