If taking a back seat means death then what? If Takei meant that statment for non life threatening medical treatment then it is somewhat better but not quite there yet.

Takei is an old school liberal, not one of AOCs bile spitting zealots.

I can say with confidence that he absolutely doesn't want anybody to die, and that he was merely refereeing to people who were sick in bed with covid.

False, he has said some horrible things about the unvaccinated. Denying people health care based on their sincere beliefs, not desiring to take an experimental vaccine that was rushed, or who have naturally acquired immunity, is at best ignorant. More like evil and playing foot soldier for power and profit. It goes against every code of modern medical ethics.

twitter.com...

He's also played the part of a partisan hack for the better part of 4 years. Not to say that's unique, but he has besmirched his Star Trek legacy.

What's with so many Democrats coming out of the closet with these totalitarian and oppressive, bootlicking tendencies? It's really sad and bizarre.

I noticed some live streams of cities and other places in countries that had some what of vaccination rate, some people are behaving differently after vaccination.

Has anyone noticed this?
I heard stories after vaccination some claim they started to lose weight.

Im triple vaccinated and ive gained about 14 pounds over the last year.

As to acting differently, do you mean like people going about there daily business in an attempt to return to some kind of semblance of whatever the feck constituted normality?

Where was that?

All over the country, surely you remember?
duckduckgo.com...

Whilst people were dying in the middle of a so-called pandemic, they rehearsed and danced.

No time for appointments for cancer and other ailments, but time for rehearsing and dancing. Yay!

I wonder if they pissed about like this in 1918?

Oh, those lazy old NHS workers.....eh?

Yep, blood on their hands.

Completely untrue here in the UK.

It is for the first year or so...

Details of early treatments that are available on our NHS here:

www.nhs.uk...

Yeah... remdesivir - and the rest are just as bad.

Nothing about HCQ, or Ivermectin, or preventatives like Zinc, Quercetin, NAC, Vit C, etc etc ad nauseum.

"Mass murderers"?

"Sane and rational"?

You sure?

Did I stutter?

Says tanstaafl that's afraid of a little prick in the arm

Says andyshakinginhisboots afraid of the big bad scary cold.

As for me - I give blood sometimes, and have gotten more than a few blood tests, so... no, not afraid of needles... just what may be in them.

and still butthurt over democracy in action.

If by democracy you mean stealing elections via mass voter fraud... yeah, I'm still a bit upset...

"Nirmatrelvir, ritonavir, remdesivir and molnupiravir are antiviral medicines.

Sotrovimab is a biological medicine. It is also known as a neutralising monoclonal antibody (nMAb).

These treatments can help some people manage their COVID-19 symptoms and reduce the risk of becoming seriously ill. They are for people who have not been admitted to hospital."

But you claimed no treatment is given and that our NHS doctors and nurses are "mass murderers"?

Which is a complete lie?

Did you "stutter"?

Why ask me?

Are you better qualified than NHS doctors and nurses?

Is Dr. Mengele more qualified because he was a doctor?

I've had COVID 19, not very nice, over it in 3 days, but nothing like a normal cold.

Other people around me certainly did not bode so well.

So a lot more than just a cold.

As to democracy and your "stealing elections via mass voter fraud" nonsense.

Well all you need is actual proof, good luck with than endeavour.

Over it in 3 days?
And then you went on and got 3 shots?

Why?

Because people around me where susceptible to COVID 19, and at the time we were being told the vaccines offered a modicum of protection where transmission of the disease was concerned as well as retarding hospitalisation and death.

You are still recommended to get vaccinated even if you have had COVID 19 Itisnowagain.

Natural immunity apparently diminishes overtime just like the protection the mRNA vaccines offer.

My little lad just had COVID 19 few weeks back(unvaccinated), presumably the Omicron strain which is apparently the most transmissible mutation to date.

Now me and the Mrs are triple vaccinated and my daughter received her first vaccination. None of us went on to develop COVID 19 and we had to isolate with my son for 10 days straight, and that's testing daily with antigen, plus sending off PCR tests every 3rd day.
