I doubt Biden has the power to do such a mandate. He is not king. Hell, even Xi don't have such power to mandate all Chinese get a vaccine.

He has the authority over federal workers, contractors and subcontractors and OSHA. Abbott doesn't.

Lol
Following right along with black nixon, brandon is attempting to weaponize osha.
Osha has politely told brandon to kick rocks.
It has formulated "suggestions " which hold no legal weight, and will not enforce it until May 2022, when osha will re evaluate.
Brandon will not get to twist osha's general duty clause to force an experimental drug on the population of the usa.

The states have the right to refuse to uphold federal mandates and even laws. Just like pot. Just like the lockdown rules.

I mean, if either one of these two even had the courage to come to the state in the first place....we can't even get them down here for a different emergency.

If you all cared so much about public health so much then please explain why this is bad but 100k un-vaxxed illegal's a month is good? You have 3 states crying/begging for help to enforce their southern borders like the last administration did and...nothing, this admin has been a silent goose egg on the subject because they need those voters desperately to hold the next house/senate races...if the mass exodus from blue states paints any sort of picture.

I've always been a fan of the "let everyone get infected and the universe will decide the rest" approach. Either your immune system is solid or it isn't.

OK, let me get this straight...

California has the authority to circumvent Federal law enforcement (ICE) and disobey Federal law to protect illegal aliens, despite the US Constitution specifically granting authority over national borders and immigration to the Federal government exclusively.

Texas does not have the authority to make state policy concerning a vaccine, despite the US Constitution never once mentioning medical standards or procedures in the powers it grants the Federal government.

Yeah, about what I expected out of you... rules for thee, none for me...

WTF?

How to get that from me saying the president has authority over federal agencies like OSHA, workers, contractors and subcontractors, while governors do not?

Excellent points! We'll see how the courts weigh in. The courts stopped AG Barr from withholding funds from CA because CA harbored and shielded illegal aliens.

Not all Federal employees. Congress and their staff have exempted themselves from any Vaccine mandate.

The Executive Branch doesn't have authority over the Legislative Branch.

This is Civics 101.

Kids in Democratic states are so confused and mentally damaged. They don't know what gender they are. They are forced to wear mask all day long. That is serious life long psychological damage.

Is that all kids in democratic states including kids from D and R households, thats a rather sweeping statement you have made, have you conducted some sort of survey to verify this asking kids if they are male or female?

If kids are confused or mentally damaged do you blame the government or the parents?

Master/slave authority... no, he does not.

An employee's time off duty is their own. If they choose not to be vaccinated during that time, then they cannot be forced to do so. It just so happens that vaccination during on-duty hours cannot be separated from vaccination during off-duty hours.

If you support the "right" of Biden to force vaccination on those under him, or anyone else, you support slavery. It's that simple. Either it's the employee's body or the employer's body.

Abbot is exercising his right to forbid slavery in his state.

I'm confused.

Why the confusion? Displaying merchandise and forced injections are two totally different things. Although Newsome has once again over stepped his boundaries.

Nobody's forcing anyone.

How are mandates not forcing ?

Yes they are, look into ESG's, they promote investing in certain people who align with certain ideals (starts 2:00) in.

Thanks for that that was very interesting to say the least.

Gov. Abbott is desperately pandering for votes in the upcoming gubernatorial race. I don't know why he thinks a state governor's executive order trumps a presidential executive order. I'm not sure either of them are constitutional, and Biden's admin still has yet to flesh out their OSHA regulations regarding vaccines, but SCOTUS has upheld vaccine mandates.

I just don't see this EO holding up in court.

Funny. I remember how blue states ignored any of Trumps laws. Remember sanctuary cities and them releasing murders and rapists from jail with no other reason then to just go against President Trump? I did not see the likes of you complain then.

This governor actually has good reason.

So much for personal choice. Texas has just stripped thousands of businesses of their rights to govern thier own affairs.

By removing governmental mandates that people dont want from them?
You seem lost.
