Texas Bans All Vaccine Mandates!

AUSTIN, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order Monday that bans COVID-19 vaccine mandates by any entity in Texas.

Abbott also added the ban to the agenda for the third Special Session currently underway in Austin.

No entity in Texas can compel receipt of a COVID-19 vaccination by any individual, including an employee or consumer, who objects to such vaccination for any reason of personal conscience, based on a religious belief, or for medical reasons, including prior recovery from COVID-19," the order states.

Southwest is headquartered in Dallas.

I'm suspicious they got a political favor, here. If Southwest ditches the mandate, now, it will be blamed on Abbott...but it's really the pilots and ATCs that stood up for their bodily autonomy. They crippled Southwest easily but no one is supposed to know that really just happened.

I wonder about all the nurses, hospital workers, corporate people in Texas that have already been fired. They need to be reinstated IMMEDIATELY, with full back pay! Hopefully this is just the beginning, maybe common sense can prevail.

This issue aside, which I'm glad they're doing.... There are few spots in the country where you can get away from light pollution and not have to many physical barriers like mountains.

The stars in Texas are mind blowing. Few things will ground you like seeing how small we are just by looking in the sky.

I can see the executive branch trying to make a Supreme Court case about it. The 10th will hopefully be upheld, then again who knows these days.
