If Artificial Scarcity is part of the Renewable energy push - How do people heat their homes during an Extreme Winter?

Scary Times ahead in the Northern Hemisphere, while Extreme Heat and Bushfires are in store for us in the South.

They are playing games to get their way. Energy is not scarce. The narrative is to stomp us in the ground on that evil CO2 they lie and lie to us about. The science is settled and CO2 is the good stuff. The plants, our food sources, are happy. The animals that eat plants so we can have protein need the plants. This is pure evil bein played out right now. We are not being abused by individual people but the principalities of this Earth who have made it clear we are a nuisance to their global plans. Red pills are more and more obvious. I hope they don't take you to the financial cleaners on this Brit's. Blessings all.

I've been checking the stock market for about last 2 months, I see a clear sync of it with political moves forced by the world reshaping agenda and manipulated social media. It wasn't that complex before and economies used to obey simple formulas and strategies.

New factors had been added and there is no way politicians can control them. The most clear example is cryptocurrency. See how positively cryptos were affected when we were near the government shut down and stocks had all red numbers.

Blaming politicians is for puppets and those still living an induced illusion.

So many companies entering on the electric car industry, oil shouldn't worry us anymore. But chips required for these vehicles are in shortage now. How is it possible that big companies didn't think about it. Think about it.

This is not about Biden, Putin or Boris. But we are induced to believe it.

Millennials are changing the world through internet and there is no way to stop it. Evolve, adapt and take advantage.

Few days ago, Elon Musk tweeted a photo of his pet, a Shiva Inu dog. Next minute, Shiva Inu crypto coin went up 65%. See the power of social media there ?

its going to come down to short supply of food

hope you all can catch some fish

Chickens can handle their own with converting bugs and seeds into tasty protein. Easy to raise too. Pigs in the wild are all over America. We can't get rid of them unless it is a total catastrophe like a Nuke. They make rabbits seem lazy breeders. It will boil down to supplies being delivered in the end for those in the city.

So the choice is buy gas from russia at reasonable prices ot be held hostage by the the US for prices way higher than russia can supply it.

Given a choice between buying from Russia or the US I would choose the US every time , giving Russia more leverage over us is not a smart move.

The UK is moving more toward renewable energy so gas is becoming a thing of the past.

Renewables generated 43 per cent of the UK’s electricity, while fossil fuels provided 38.5 per cent. Offshore and onshore wind accounted for 24.2 per cent in the renewables share: offshore wind 13 per cent and onshore wind 11.2 per cent. Low carbon sources, including renewables and nuclear power, together generated 59 per cent of the UK’s electricity in 2020, according to the figures in the latest Energy Trends report published by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
www.offshorewind.biz...

That would be a big mistake, russia has been supplying gas for years with no problems. The US doesnt have allies, just people it can take advantage of or bully into doing what it wants. We are talking up to double the price of gas, not something most people can afford.

As for renewable energy, that doesnt in any way solve heating problems. Most people rely on gas or oil not electricity. Even if the impossible were to happen and everyone switched to electric heating, people could not afford it. Dont expect electricity to go down in price just because its renewable.

This russia paranoia needs to stop before the average person starts to suffer more than they already do in RIP off Britain.

Whats going to power those electric cars? I've done some numbers on that in other threads and just to power 1/4 of the cars in the US would require a dozen nuclear power plants or the state of delaware in wind generators.

Who writes policies and laws? Millennials? If anything corporations control politicians.

And Bitcoin aint going to heat a persons home in January.

We just had a local contractor put in a new propane furnace, switching over from fuel oil. They just finished hooking it up last wednesday and Thursday they filled our new five hundred gallon tank up. We have a price guarantee for this heating season for new customer.

We thought of having a new oil furnace put in, but I was tired of the yearly maintenance from that, I used to change the nozzle myself every year and I wanted to use the chimney for the wood cookstove. We had it for many years, and rarely used it because you had to shut the oil furnace down when using it. We still won't be using it much, but it would be nice to take the chill out with the wood cookstove and cook dinner occasionally on it. You had to get the house three or four degrees above the thermostat so it would not puff out smoke when the oil burner kicked on...pain in the butt, but it did keep the house heated in the winter when power was out and also we have an electric stove so we cooked on and in it.

We figured out that we need it more for emergencies now than with the oil furnace, since these high technology gas furnaces have lots that can go wrong when a line surge in the power lines occurs.....which happens quite often during storms. I put a whole house surge protector and it helped to keep electronics from burning out, but occasionally the spike goes high enough to overload the surge protector we have when trees fall on lines and take out the power.

If it isn't scarce then what is driving a 500% increase? Its seems to be a case of supply vs. demand.

He didn't shutdown a pipeline. The keystone pipeline is still flowing. What he did was shut down the xl extension of the pipeline. And the oil that would of flowed through that pipeline is that tar sand oil. Which is not suitable for using for fuel. It has uses for things like making bitumen. And fun fact. China invested something like $30 billion into Canadian Tar Sand Oil production. That oil would of went back to China if the pipeline would of been built.

They are holding back delivery of oil all over the Earth . But holding back the pipelines does cause the price to climb on fear mongering alone. The plan is to make us suffer it seems. They think we believe they "know what's best" . We don't and need to put our foot down at the same time on every front.

Again, we are talking about natural gas, not oil. Which mostly affects heating houses.

Don't fall for the faux Environmental angle. We keep finding more oil than we previously used in all the Earths history. Natural Gas is abundant and we can recycle certain waste to produce methane. This is about what the "elite" want to do to us and nothing else.

Keystone. He pulled the permit.

ETA: Remember that time when gas prices jumped by a dollar or more when biden took office and they are still up there? Thats in part why.

Wouldn't you think though, that if Biden were trying to drive up our dependence on foreign oil, he would have left it in place? Or do you mean that dependence on oil from Canada is not really tantamount to "foreign" which i could understand.

The instillation of new gas boilers will be banned from 2023 in the UK , all new build houses will be fitted with Heat Pumps with existing housing being converted there after , as I said we are moving away from gas.

In 2019, the UK government announced that it would be bringing in a ban on gas boilers. This was originally scheduled for 2025 but has since been brought forward to 2023. The ban will help the UK towards its target of net-zero emissions by 2050; it’s estimated that 14% of all CO2 emissions are produced by our homes, with gas boilers making up the majority of these emissions.

Right about electric cars, but they'll be pushed as the vaccine. Once you can't find parts for repairs, you won't have a choice and will get one. Recharging is the real business behind it. If you pay rent, no utilities will be included. So you'll pay
your recharges. Right now I don't see buildings upgraded with charging outlets. Gas stations not upgraded neither.

Millennials have the ability to bypass lawmakers by influencing society and we clearly saw it during the last 2 years. They are aware of the value of their support and underestimate them just make them stronger.

Take as an example something so stupid like the "kneeling" trend and how far it went. At certain moment, it wasn't considered stupid anymore.

My son works at a place where they make the chips. He says they just can't get parts. A truck comes in and only has a part of a shipment , so they just do the best they can with what they've got.
