Then why do you support and vote for those who want communism, open borders and higher taxes?

He needs to take a nice slow ride through downtown Dallas in a convertible, if you catch my drift.

You think today's "gubment" is cool? We need that wall and we need to keep our laws. What we don't need are radical democrats.

Communism isn't the goal. Open borders are a means to an end.
The future, im afraid, has never been more dark. The plan seems more and more obvious: to control the population as consumers. The coming system will be unique and leverage technology to achieve its end.
Open borders provide consumers. The west has lost consumers through low birth rates. The equator doesn't have that problem. The economic system has been rigged to extract wealth upwards, and the end result will be that we are all poor and no one pays taxes. That is the end goal: no one is paying taxes. We are just farmed to consume.

Yup, coming to a town near you, and me, and you, and you, and you.
Get ready folks.
Are Open Borders a hallmark of Socialist countries?
Well, lot's of people consider Canada a socialist country, but, we vigorously defend and protect our borders (with help from the US I might add).
So I would say no, not always anyway.

You can say or think whatever you want about Trump, but prior to Chinas release of the virus, we had it pretty darned good here.

Remember Roxham Road?
Close to 50,000 have entered Canada at the unofficial border crossing point in just two years
I wouldn't be surprised if migrants are shipped up there. There is a media blackout regarding it and the residents were handed money to stay silent.

I'm a firm believer in the US Constitution, limited government and the rights of all individuals, even the unborn ones.

Electing Trump only delayed the inevitable and made it more messy. Honestly. I agree, he was a good POTUS in many ways. And his approach to leading our nation fits with what i want to see (tight borders, tight trade deals, investment in urban areas both commerce and education).
You might get similar with DeSantis...have to see how easily corrupted he is. He seems good, but i have no more faith to hold. Tomorrow will be what it will be. If im lucky, the next 25 years im hopefully alive won't be utterly Orwellian and dystopian.

For me, it was seeing Roberts flip flop on ACA, then the nonsense with Petraus. It became VERY obvious that if you needed to be subverted, they would subvert you.
Trump may have been an exception, due to money or contacts. Or maybe he was just carefully controlled opposition? Who knows.
The only hope we have right now are a bunch of autists on Reddit, taking them to the woodshed in the markets. But we see the Federal Reserve is willing to get involved in pump and dump...all the new money in Reddit will never compete with the Federal Reserve for cash liquidity.

Call me cynical, but I see the back-and-forth with Biden and DeSantis as staged to make us like the protagonist and hate the antagonist.

Admission of falling for propaganda is a good first step mate!
Look at the name of the flux man.
