The future of the border will be interesting. With marijuana legalized in Mexico that crime will be drastically reduced. However with tons of news that Law Enforcement in California has a variety of violent gangs, the corrupt US government helping things move back and forth, and the Federales, and now ICE...who knows what will happen. It's either going to go up or down.

There's a big difference

Obama didn't say it was unsustainable because we were taking in too many who would be citizens, Obama said it was unsustainable because logistically we can't feed clothe and have them take up residency at the most basic standards.

This is why we have millions of tents where "citizens" have to live because we can't have everybody reside here at once, it has to be in measured doses.

Letting too many in at once burdens those border towns beyond their capacity.
