Think of it as two separate groups of people, vaxxed and unvaxxed.


If you have 100 people who are vaccinated and 20 of them end up on hospital and you have 20 people who are unvaccinated and 10 of them end up in hospital then you have twice as many vaccinated people in hospital than unvaccinated right?

But percentage wise only 20 percent of vaccinated people end up in hospital compared to 50 percent of unvaccinated people.

The number of people hospitalised is meaningless.witj the other numbers.

Does that explain it better?

I don't know the statistics but I'm almost sure that more people die in road traffic accidents everyday.

I'm very open to the vaccines not working, but the data says it is. I'm willing to adjust as data changes. You can read the data anyways you want even when they outright say the vaccine is working. We also do not see old people dropping like flies as they were doing in the beginning.

BTW why would I need to get a booster I'm not high risk? Like many, I don't fear the virus, but I did want to jump start my immune system some so avoid maybe weeks in a hospital.

Lets throw in a kicker in the vaccinated are like 65 years old on an average, and the unvacced is mostly young and healthy... When you start to add in risk discriminator too it really shows just how good the vaccine is working.

I disagree, stats do show that the vacced have much reduced symptoms, and that is what it is all about. If you get the virus it is no longer new to your system and the body can attack it quicker and better. It is about as simple as that...

So lets say 1 million people are vacced and 800 are in the hospital, and 1000 are unvacced and 200 are in the hospital, which group is worst off?

The one point taken is we can see why many here argue that the vaccine does not work. If one can not understand the simple math there really is nothing to show as data or proof, and that is why these article are so successful with click bait titles.
