China has not turned over the daily logs or manifests of what was done and what was present in the Wuhan lab in 2019.

Because of the dangerous nature of the research meticulous records are kept.

No country has been allowed access to them. China is not allowing it.

Or, the virus arose in humans. It didn't recently cross from any other species, and is a human adapted disease.

The paper linked here (.pdf) shows that SARS-CoV-2 had a natural origin and was adapted specifically to humans. I.e: it arose in humans.

This 'newsy' opinion piece is what happens when one 'news' site quote opinion pieces from other news sites, which have their own agendas to get clicks and readership, rather than being truthful to the facts, or even linking directly to the academic papers they purport to represent.
