That second Alan Watts link strikes a nerve with me. I started perhaps too early with the serious thinking. Probably directly related to being from a bad situation at 2-3 years old. It woke me up and I drove my teachers mad trying to show I had the answers as I was seeking positive feedback from adults after that.

Alan Watts says to rest your mind by not trying to force it to shut down. I am going to have to try that because I can have an idea spinning in my head all night long and it makes me lose sleep. Just let it go somehow like when I was playing sports, singing hymns or other great songs I love. Sometimes I need a break on thinking hard about something for sure.
