They're blaming it on a "blackout." Like I said though, it seems to beggar belief that it could happen randomly at all. The vessel barely even fits inside the canal and it is turned completely perpendicular to the canal itself. Crazy.

At any rate, I think it's going to be stuck there awhile. Like I said, the bow of the ship is literally dug into the shore. They are trying to use tugboats to tear it loose, but it's hard to even imagine how much that thing weighs, and with it run aground, they're basically trying to pull the full weight of that loaded vessel.

If you have ever been on a boat let alone a ship currents and wind play a huge factor in everything. When you lose power (blackout) you are at their mercy. Wind can easily shift the vessel enough the allow current to take over and bam your sideways.

What amazes me is how do these ships not have a tug boat escort for emergencies? It does seem fishy for sure though.

Russia suspected of jamming RAF aircraft out of Cyprus

RAF flights have recently been disrupted by GPS interference near Akrotiri base, in Cyprus. The British military accuses Russian forces deployed in Syria.

British military intelligence sources reported several attempts at disrupting the satellite communications of Royal Air Force aircraft as they had just taken off from RAF Akrotiri base in Cyprus. The planes affected include Typhoon and F-35B fighter jets, A400M transporters, and A330 MRTT Voyager tankers, according to a British Ministry of Defense source quoted by the Telegraph.

RAF Akrotiri is the main base of operations for the Royal Air Force assets participating in Operation Shader against the Islamic State. Aircraft based in southern Cyprus regularly carry out strikes both in Syria and Iraq.....

A couple of months before, the Norwegian intelligence service (Etterretningstjenesten) reported that during the NATO exercise Trident Juncture 18 organized in the country in October 2018, multiple cases of GPS malfunctions were reported. Norway explicitly accused Russia of jamming the signal in what was described as a “continuing trend”.

While the first U.S. COVID-19 case was detected in the Seattle area in late January, by February, EvergeenHealth had not diagnosed a single case. It wasn't until late February when federal officials expanded guidelines for who could get tested for the disease that the hospital opted to test two patients who were critically ill with pneumonia.

Francis Riedo, medical director for infectious disease at Evergreen, thought it was extremely unlikely either patient would come back positive, Baker reports. "I felt like I was dropping a line into the middle of the Pacific Ocean and thinking maybe I'll come up with something," Riedo said.

But when the tests came back, both pneumonia patients had tested positive for the disease.

According to Evergreen CEO Jeff Tomlin, upon hearing the news, "everybody knew that our work lives were going to be dramatically changed, as well as a lot of our lives in general."

Staff moved to isolate the two patients immediately, and then launched the process of identifying others who might have been exposed. Hospital officials also began testing other patients with respiratory symptoms. Many of those tests came back positive, Baker reports.

A few days later, more patients started flowing into Evergreen from Life Care Center, a nursing home near Seattle, with COVID-19 symptoms.

So in Washington State (where Inslee is Governor) Evergreen was also reporting a large influx of "covid" patients as soon as "new testing standards" were allowed.

So was this just a Cuomo thing, or was the entire Democratic Party behind this culling?

Lets put it this way Rel. If you came across Cuomo for the first time, I dont think your first instincts would be, "Oh he seems like such a nice man and cares so much for others, he should run for Governor." It would probably be more like which faction of the Mob is he connected to? New York style at that. Old school. They have no problem getting rid of anything that might become a pesky problem. Be it burning it down or making a nice pair of cement shoes and a nature drive down by the river.
