I knew a Pole who, during the communist era, had thought the elderly neighbor addled because he stated he had been in combat against the Soviets in 1939. Later, after communism fell, it was realized the elderly neighbor had been quite accurate in his statement.

People have little idea how easy it is to rewrite history.

Having flicked through those photos of the flags at your link, I found it interesting that it would seem Trump and Nixon were the only Presidents that had more than the 2 flags. They both had SEVEN.
I can't say anything about whether the flags were exactly the same though as I don't know much about them.
