Saw it on Twitter from a reliable account first, then confirmed with a friend in DC guard. Not as nefarious as it sounds.....really just making sure all protocols are in place in case something happens is what I was told.

The thing that gets me is there are still statements that there are no credible threats ahead of the event....just this morning a Major General said it on Fox....no credible threats.

It would be someone chosen in the line of succession. In practice, the designated survivor is usually a member of the president's Cabinet, and is chosen by the president. Under Trump, the designated survivor is supposedly David Bernhardt - Secretary of the Interior.

Course, this could have changed weeks or months ago given Trump's chess game of revolving doors.

There's a clip of the Commanding General of the DC National Guard speaking on Good Morning America, today. I saw it on Telegram so I can't post a link.

Anyway, he says at one point, he's happy to be assisting the Secret Service and DC police force "with a peaceful transition of military power."

George Papadopoulous apparently didn't even notice he said it.

Somewhat random observations:

Watching season 2 of The Expanse. Epstein, inventor of the Epstein drive dies on maiden flight in spacecraft because he can't control his drive.

- Epstein didn't kill himself
- maiden = virgin
- maiden flight = losing virginity
- spacecraft/rocket = penis symbol
- brings to mind JPL rocket scientist Jack Parsons and his occult sex magick shenanigans with his connections to Aleister Crowley, Hubbard and the Maxwell (!) clan. JP's death, etc.

Epstein couldn't control his drive... huh. Season 2 of The Expanse was originally released in 2015, I think.
