Pompeo is angrily fighting against the Assange pardon, as are a few others close to POTUS.

This, despite overwhelming support for the move across all aisles of the public.

Anybody know why Pompeo's ass is chaffed over Assange? Seemingly none of people around Trump are acting like their tenure will end in 2 days.

This is worth repeating. It's not just a saying that the government rules by the consent of the people. If the people don't respect the government, then the government's power largely evaporates. I dare say that at this point, our (allegedly) elected leaders are so openly crooked that probably a solid majority of the population would welcome a military administration to tear out all the rot and rebuild the system.

The solar power is the additional energy. That is what is running the vehicle.

They do this the hard way by using the power to make hydrogen, not very efficient, which they then burn rather than just using the stored energy directly with electric motors, which is much more efficient. Maybe they wanted to play into the 'hydrogen economy,' which is itself problematic as an economy can't be based on a derived product (hydrogen.)

Wouldn't using water to store the energy in molecular bonds, rather than in batteries, maybe be safer, cheaper and provide more energy density? The designs I have seen, rely on the Hydroxy being produced as it is used, rather than stored in tanks...which would be heavier and more dangerous. I have not seen any that use that as the sole fuel though...just add to a hydrocarbon to make it burn much more efficiently.

People should realize, if-anything solar derived, electric battery is the way to go. Average Joe doesnt' even understand his plug-in EV simply shifts the pollution away from the tailpipe.....ignoring all the inefficiencies of electric generation and transportation.

Like I said, ICE engines main product is heat. One people combust a fuel, most energy goes away in heat. No way to reach equilibrium using that method. The only energy captured in ICE is the expanding (hot) gasses. I wish I knew the relative energy output from combustion, but once you have a significant portion >25% LOST in heat...there's no efficient cycle.

The only truly "free energy" is hybrids with energy regenerative brake systems. Step on the brake and the energy is captured and stored. Not much use on the highway, but good in the city center, and at LeMans. The Porsche system is cool, it uses a inertial flywheel at 100,000 rpms sitting in the passenger seat. Real race cars do a lot of braking, and I don't mean NASCAR.

I can think of a couple. Assange pardon means he can speak freely about anything - more or less. Mike might feel that they cannot control what is said, so Assange may say something that could impact The Plan. He could also feel it might make Assange less safe - assuming he is in the "prison" which I don't think he is. It also could be BS and posturing for the room. Or E is full of it.

I dont think there is any contingency that puts Trump into the designated survivor role....though it could be someone that is with him off site I guess.

David Bernhardt (Secretary of the Interior) was Designated Survivor for the State of the Union address in February 2020.
If Trump isn't going to the inauguration, I take it Biden has to have a Designated Survivor as he is taking over, but he says he's doing a virtual inauguration anyhow.
So I don't understand...are there 2 of them to cover all eventualities?
Also, what about Trump's immediate family? Aren't some of them within the Cabinet?

Designated survivor is almost always from the outgoing admin because the elect has no cabinet yet. I would assume if Trump is not in DC at the time that it would revert back to him even if a designated survivor had been chosen as he would already have working knowledge of the current administration and world affairs.

Mike was also the head of the CIA and Assange and Wikileaks have been none too kind to the CIA over the years. Vault 7 was a disaster for them. Perhaps he just still harbors bad feelings over everything they have dropped?

Thank you, that's where my logical thought was going. So in fact IF something happens on the 20th and Biden is 'nabbed' before his inauguration...DJT would step back in from his safe place.
However, if something happens to Bidden AFTER he has taken oath of office, and assuming not Harris, then Harris would automatically step in as President correct?

I know if he and Harris are sworn in and something happens to Biden then yes, she takes over. The DJT scenario I am just guessing on.....I have never read anything about a scenario where the outgoing POTUS is not in attendance and something happens to the incoming when not sworn in yet....I also don't know how it would work as far as appointing a new POTUS or if there is a default back to the previous one (Trump) for the next term.

I would guess another election would have to be held in congress without having the citizens vote again....

I am sure they have contingencies on all of these scenarios, but I have yet to find any record of them.....likely kept TS if I had to guess. That way nobody would be able to formulate a plan based on the known contingencies in order to subvert them.
