Yeah but the question is, or my question is, did he do it on his own for personal reasons or was it "suggested" and or "stressed" that it would good idea if he did cancel it.

A simple argument would be it was planned before the need to reject the count as President of the US Senate. Once this was put into play he stayed. This could mean he is not in on The Plan, or has been sandbagging all along due to being unchained from his Blackmail, change of heart, or frankly - being replaced by someone who looks a bit like the original.

Lawyerly trick. He takes two "knowns" Roberts adopted kids from another country because the US was out of them, and JE trafficked in kids. Both are true but not in the same context. So folks will dig on it to prove they are not connected - they may find in fact they are, but more likely they'll find both fishy enough - if the bothered to look. The end reveal will have them paying attention regardless.
