I wonder if when children have "imaginary friends" - this is a part in that explanation?

That's what I'm thinking.

Now, it seems that part of the brain shuts off, and one loses the 'innocence of youth'.

In many ways, most 'spirituality' is simply re-attaining that.

The first race, maybe residents of this space time or from another space time,
were originally biological. They created an 'AI machine race'. The two factions
have been fighting back and forth, since forever.

are/were actually researching 'Kundalini' (the Antenna) for the past
hundred years or so.

Whether any of this is true or not,

it's what people believe.

It's what I believe too, and I independently discovered all of it,
without ever having read a UFO book or even a 'spiritual book'
when I was young, many decades ago.

It's quite something.

Now, this is my response about 'spirituality' and 'UFOs'; if you want to discuss
'god' and things of that nature, that's an entirely different topic. It's a conversaion
worth having.

'day Kevin. I understand you're busy and may not read this for some time, if ever. Yet I thought I might mention that I found some of those Fae that are too 'alien' to be reasoned with, even with games. So 'yeah'; I see your perspective. Though I still maintain that it is a practical understanding of the non-human way of thinking that is primarily problematic in many cases.

I have time now to look into these things out of my own interest. Even ordered JV's Magnolia, and by the way; Cutchin wrote quite the practical field guide in Thieves in the Night.

Yes. It is difficult to measure quantum conditions without affecting them. Impossible, in fact. Please don't say that you think it has something to do with consciousness.

Been over a month since the last response to this thread, but I rarely visit the site these days (too political) and the comment about consciousness intrigued me. Why is there a negative connotation with that? Was there some big debate on ATS about this or some other reason that it is being dismissed. Even Kelly called people 'nutjobs' for apparently believing in this.

Personally, I read about things like multiple universes and think - for every sentient being alive, that is a unique viewpoint, thus a unique universe - however, it is still shared to a lesser or greater degree depending upon things we don't understand yet.

I've heard the thoughts on Quantum Entanglement and how it relates to consciousness. How some believe it is possible to 'shape' reality by applying conscious intent. I've read the stories about groups of people praying, and then winning the lotto or having the person they prayed for having a miraculous medical recovery, amongst other things.

I do agree with the sentiment that proving any of it is downright hard to impossible, but just can't discount the whole concept so easily - so just wondering why...

You are free to believe whatever you want. But misinterpretations of physics should be called out imho.

(Quantum) physics does not require consciousness. There are no consciousness factors in the equations. The experiments don't depend on a consciousness being present.

It has been shown that observation can impact results (quantum phenomena) and I guess it doesn't require a conscious entity to do the observing, although I'm not sure an AI or video camera would work unless a sentient (conscious) entity observed the recording/results... I'm not a quantum physicist though.

It does serve a purpose to have people so stuck with theories of physics and science and keen on debunking anything that moves and laugh at any hocus pocus. If we did not have such people the world would be a very dangerous place ; where even the state would be dabling in the art.

I find a world of disbelievers a safer place.

Any observation is interaction at quantum level. Physical interaction that is. You can setup an experiment to run without any sentient being around, record the result, look at the result years later and it will be the same. The experimental setup is what is producing the result not the sentient being looking at it.
