I said in another thread, if the Republicans lose the Senate it is 100% Trump's fault because he acted this way. The election proved that people disliked Trump only slightly more than they disliked the Democrat Party.

All of that is accurate, in my mind.

If you actually want to see Republican policies put in place, you need to decouple from Trump NOW. Why care about Trump, personally, so much? It’s about policies - find someone who can broadly appeal to American’s and then push policy!

What blows me away is that Republicans are actually on the right side of most issues from a policy standpoint. But, since they let Trump make the election about his “greatness” and he spent the final weeks of his campaigns slamming Biden for being old instead of telling people what he has accomplished and how he’ll move us forward this is what you get.

Ironically, Hillary conceded in 2016 and look what happened in 2020... had Hilary would have done more harm than good to the Dem efforts at mid-terms and the 2020 race if she hadn’t.

The longer Trump supporters - and by that I don’t mean Republicans, I mean Trump fanatics - carry on supporting Trump and his narratives the more long-term damage they will do to the party platform.

But they just can’t see past their shadow on this one.

I cannot disagree.

As a Libertarian I don't want a one party control of Congress and the Presidency, I want gridlock.

SMH.

I’ll put it like this.

My father, who is extremely conservative, made a comment last summer about Trump after he went on some unhinged Twitter rant and said that he is “voting for Trump because of the policies and frankly because he delivered results pre-COVID.. but man the guy’s an @sshole”. Ironically, this comes from my father, who has also been know to have some A-hole tendencies.

This conversation set the alarm bells off for me. This is a guy who votes party line dogmatically and he wasn’t thrilled about Trump’s behavior.

Imagine how a moderate dem or Republican might feel then?

Trump lost the election because he doubled down on being Trump. That’s what happened.

Now, if someone can demonstrate the wrongdoing Thats alleged I’m all for hearing it. And I’ll even concede that there are a few points that have been raised that made me raise an eyebrow.

But, the smart decision is do all of that investigative work behind the scenes. Don’t tell them what you know. Build a full understanding of what happened and then get ready to ready to ensure that doesn’t happen next time. Keep a close eye on election policy changes and vendors. Do your homework quietly and get a candidate in front of the American people soon.

But that’s a tactical approach that doesn’t fly with the Trump crowd who would rather say “oh ya?? Wanna fight about it!?” and punch people in the face - because that obviously worked well...

I'd like a "None of the above" option.

All that fighting and punching stuff, all from behind the safety of a keyboard.

Arizona has rushed to certify Joe Biden as the winner, while evidence suggesting otherwise is being presented today.

twitter.com...

The DOJ is now free to begin its forensic investigation.

Today is the last day they could certify, how is that a rush? Maybe the grandstanding hearing could have been sooner and not just an empty unenforceable sham.

Millions of ppl voted for Trump because he loves this country, not because there is or isn't an R in front of his name.

Trump could be playing things close to the vest for a coup de grace to Usurper Joe. Timing is everything. Imagine Usurper Joe publicly put in handcuffs just before the swearing in ceremony. Proudest day in American history next to the Moon Landing.

Meanwhile, in reality there is more chance of Trump having a brush with the old handcuffs once the IRS et al can go after him when he is finally dragged kicking and screaming from the White House.

Exactly! A majority of Americans can see exactly who Trump is — and have had enough.

Including Republicans — which I think many have also had enough of the extreme Right Wing.

“They” keep talking about how fractured the Left is — yeah, well, welcome to the club.

Sure.

That's not how court challenges work.

Cute fantasy, maybe focus on reality instead.
