I’d rather have a President who’s a Republican or Libertarian and forwards those policies.

Your comment is exactly why Trump didn’t win - perfect example of how he became a God to some but not for the masses. If he has moderated his commentary, shown strength through his presidential record - which was quite strong! - he would have won running away.

Instead he doubled down on the mentality you say you prefer and he got beat. Because most people in America aren’t super thrilled about “taking things out back” to solve issues...

These are people who could easily have been swayed to the conservative platform with even just a little bit of of decorum - not wild rides in secret service suburban’s touting he’s Superman for surviving COVID and playing lengthy “Sleepy Joe Biden Fails” at his rally’s.

People don’t like a sore loser. They also don’t like people who personally assault others - and Trump’s behavior took the “high ground” away from his side and instead he went to war with the media.

But if he didn’t do the things the media pointed to it wouldn’t be an issue...

Why can’t people learn from their childhood. We all had the snarky S bag in a class or two who made fun of people and liked to “fire up” those who they viewed as easy to agitate. Libs are SO good at that. And Trump bit harder on that than any politician I can think of.

He just gave them the fuel they needed to continue and prove them right with more ranting, antagonistic and unhinged behavior.

This isn’t hard to see if you can stop thinking of Trump as a God.

He’s a businessman celebrity turned President. Thus, he’s a politician. Don’t ever fall in love with a politician or think they alone are as powerful or important as anyone else. Politicians will break your heart every time.

The “F me? F u!!!!” approach doesn’t work well in general and definitely doesn’t work well in this arena.

Trump could have painted the left as a bunch of children - if he acted like an adult.

Instead, he played their game - and they’re better at it than he is.
