I just checked the case docket and my great state of Ohio has filed an amicus brief, thank god!! I just emailed our AG yesterday, and I got a bunch of my friends to send request today!! I feel I had a part in this

AG Yost's point seems to be the Judicial branch can't tell the legislature how to appoint electors, but Texas is seemingly just asking that the legislature can pick the electors how it sees fit, ignoring the election results as they are invalid.

MO/AK/LA/MS/SC/UT are attaching themselves like POTUS has to the Texas lawsuit.

SCOTUS has already said that your civil rights don't disappear because there's a pandemic, pretty much in those exact words. It stands to reason then that Governors and beaurocrats cannot unilaterally change election laws days before an election because "pandemic." Laws need to be changed by the legislature, and this wasn't done.

Those states did not hold a legal presidential election, and that most certainly does hurt people outside their borders.

Thank-you! I've been looking all over for possible SCOTUS outcomes, and all I see are articles saying the Supreme Court will outright dismiss it. Even many conservative pundits (like Bill O'reilly) were telling Sean Hannity this today. They all say Texas has "No Standing".

I don’t really understand what their reasoning for that is... every state has a right to expect that other states are reasonably securing their national elections against fraud. Sure, there may not be any case law supporting their position (maybe there is something on a different topic?) but that’s the whole freaking purpose of the Supreme Court. If there was case law already interpreting the constitution as it applies here, we wouldn’t need the Supreme Court necessarily.
