Most of them are not coming from Mexico. They are coming from much farther south and have many options in between to make a better life.

Imagine how much there could be if we spent abortion money on the living ones. Imagine how many lives have been snuffed out that could have been the one to cure cancer. Imagine ALL the people. And just as a side note, the babies inside mom are also living.

As far as our borders go, the 9th circuit court back under Obama ruled that the Goverment either needed to release all of the family or sperate the children if kept in captivity. I do not know the rational for this, but...

1. How do you know who is who, or whose kids they are? Kids became a pawn to get a free ticket into the country, it wasn't good, so Obama started the whole cage thing not out of cruelty, but out of nothing else could be done.

2. They came here across a huge country of Mexico and its our problem?

3. Trump has secured the borders, got Mexico to put 10,000s of troops on their side too. Do you hear about border problems today as it was when Trump took over? So what is the point in all this now. The sad part is the detention centers is more likely the best living experience they have ever seen. 3+ good meals per day, medical care, not sleeping outside...so on and so forth.

Trump didn't create any of this but it seems he got a handle on it in 3 years what Obama couldn't do in 8 years.

That's how desperate asylum seekers are to get their families to safety. It's a tragedy that a trek across a desert is safer than staying home.

There is no excuse for the United States Government not to reunite these families for deportations together, unless they thought it wasn't ethical to send children back to unsafe countries.

There is no excuse for automatically separating families that arrive on US soil seeking asylum as a punishment and then deporting the parents but keeping the children.
