You have an odd view of what life is.
A bucket of chemicals isn't life.
A sperm cell is not a person.
An egg is not a person.
The two unite and form a new person.
A baby is a new life.
It isn't either parent. It is new and unique.
It did not exist before the egg and sperm united.

If you can deny this, I will never be able to convince you.

Life is continuous. There is no magical beginning or ending of life on Planet Earth. Life is a circle.

A newly born person is experiencing life newly, from their youthful inexperienced viewpoint. First breath, first love, first betrayal, ect.
