They people were deported to their countries of origin, wherever that might be. It's up the US government to know where they are, since they're the ones that confiscated the children and deported the parent. It's the US government's responsibility to reunite them.

These are poor people that came here seeking asylum. They spent everything they had to get to the USA, and can't just do it again, and can't come back after being deported.

No parent is going to put their child at risk by bringing them back to poverty and starvation, back to a dangerous country where they might be murdered, kidnapped and enslaved and/or trafficked.

Basically, the US is saying "Screw you grown ups. Go back and stay there, in your # hole country, but we'll take your kids."

Hmm....got any proof of these statements. I can speak as a real grown up with kids of my own. I would never do any of these things to my children. If they are not sitting at the border screaming for their kids back then they were not fit to be a parent in the first place.

You'd probably make more headway if you just pushed for sterilization of horrible people.

Wow....so how did they get here the first time? Yeah, if I got separated from my kids I'd just say screw it, that trip was way too hard WITH kids the first time.....Im sure they'll be fine.

Why would they need American lawyers? Neither they nor their kids are US citizens. There are plenty of attorneys that would be all over a case with 500 kids involved if it were true....and would likely do it pro bono.

Looking forward to all the stories of kids being reconnected with their families. Maybe the bleeding hearts should focus on finding them.....you know....go to Mexico yourself and do it. Apparently you are so well versed and traveled and knowledgeable that this shouldn't be a problem. You could singlehandedly be the savior of all caged illegal children in the US who are unclaimed by their parents! You would be praised by all and receive awards.
