BRAVO!!!

I've been voting Libertarian since '96. Over the years, I've watched the Libertarians gain more and more traction, to the point that the Libertarian candidate has now gained access to the ballots in ALL 50 states.

It's slow going... that's for damn sure! But it's the best -- perhaps the only -- way to break the Dem/Pub stranglehold. As the tortoise said to the hare, slow and steady wins the race.

If Americans would vote in just one third party candidate to the office of potus, it might not work miracles, but it would send a message to DC, and that's a good start.

Politically speaking, I'd say you're sorely lacking a decent spotter.

Biden is a bit different than Trump.

Agreed, but i think we all know he'd be more of a figure head.

I'd imagine if the left won the white house, we'd see similar policy to Bush/Obama.

That's honestly not too different than what we have now aside from some different flavors of rhetoric.

Not much has changed under Trump. We spend more than ever, cut taxes increasing the debt faster than ever... And other than a few small symbolic wins, here we are.

I voted for him, I was rooting for him... But at the end of the day his policy dictates my impression, which is about the same I've had for any other recent president. He's all talk, no different from those before him.

After reading your post, I picture you like Mel Gibson on Braveheart when they left him fight alone.

With this election I picture America like Mel Gibson at the end of the film where they were removing all the rope.

Then you'll have democrats and republicans finally united...., against your candidate.

The major difference that wins my vote for Trump is our kids and the endless foreign wars. Look at all the money flowing for Biden some portion of it is from the military industrial complex.

When our kids began coming home under Obama the VA was failing them. Now kids who were exposed to situations in the unneeded Bush and Obama wars are getting help.

I went to visit my lil sis in 2012 and found her a drunken stooper passed out with a pistol in her mouth and a puddle of tears on the floor. Being told she would never fight abroad when she joined the National Guard only to deployed by Bush and left there by Obama.

From that day on I will never let my vote go unheard and wasted. Theres no reason to elect corrupt beholden career politicians to office and I will never support another because they are sell outs to foreign governments and corporations.

you wasted your vote.

Who did you vote for with the other ballots you have?

I threw a couple in for Lucifer, Cthulhu and my pal in North Carolina which, oddly enough, are all the same person.

You would be shilling Trump if he was a mason, anything for attention

I once voted for the "monster raving looney" party and also the green party in the UK, the 2 main established candidates are usually long serving political deviants

apparently there are over 1200 candidates for POTUS, at least 1 should have some morale fibre shouldn't they? although if they are in politics to begin with then they sold their soul to the devil years ago

US election 2020: The other 1,214 candidates running for president

You didnt vote for Jo. You voted against Trump and Biden. In so doing, have given tacit approval to either evil

Its ok to do this, but be honest about it and dont think you have any actual virtue to signal.

Oh, look, the mind reader is here. Thanks mind reader for pretending to know what I might have thought if Trump were a Mason.

I don't care about people's fraternal affiliations, one of the guys in my district ran for Governor of New Jersey and I didn't vote for him because he ran as a Republican and I don't vote Democrat or Republican on most tickets.

I ended up voting for Jo Jo too. States vote in presidents and I live in Illinois which will give all its electoral votes to Biden. Like the OP stated I feel better with my choice because I didn't have to choose from two dinosaurs.

That said I truly hope Trump wins so we can get 4 years of something other than Democratic chicanery. I'd rather deal with Republican chicanery. Either way its a sh!tshow for sure.

LOL! Like Ron Paul??? Yeah, been there and done that and bought the T-shirt.

Dems and Pubs are already united against the people. We've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

1. Trump may be a great leader to some but he’s an embarrassment of a president. He may have done a lot more good than he gets credit for, but he ruins it with his stupid Twitter account and his smug attitude. I know the liberal media has been at war with him since day 1 and I hate them even more for it....but the guy is still a clown. He has no dignity, no respect for traditions or customs, and in many ways he is out of his league. With all that said, if it was just him and Biden, I would choose Trump.

2. Biden is a representative of the greater evil in American politics. He’s corrupt, he is creepy, and his greatest accomplishment is sniffing the coattails of President Obama. What’s worse is his VP nominee is exactly what I hope to never see in the White House. With Biden’s dementia and collapsing criminal enterprise, there’s no doubt in my mind that if he wins she will be President.

You did not think this through. You think you did, but you didn't put any rational thought into it. Sadly, for most people, these little protest votes boil down to one thing: you just wanted to feel special. My brother did this last election, and in the intervening 4 years, he realized how silly it is. You know Trump has been an effective leader, but you threw your vote away for silly reasons that have nothing to do with policy or who is the better candidate.

And no, my vote for JoJo isn’t a vote for Biden...so don’t try to play that card.

Yes, it is. You obviously favor Trump over Biden, so if you voted rationally it would've been a vote for Trump. That vote would've helped him win. Without that vote, it makes it easier for Biden to win. You are helping Biden win. That's a simple fact that cannot be disputed.

I get it. Most of my political views are libertarian. I'd pay real money for a viable libertarian candidate. We don't have one this year, so the logical thing to do is to limit the damage. A Biden presidency will do much more damage to libertarian ideals than Trump will. So I'm voting Trump. We can cry all day about how it shouldn't be a two-choice election, but it is. Work on fixing that in the 4 years before the next election. Now is not the time, especially with how radical the authoritarian Left has become.

Vote with your brain, don't just try to be trendy.

If Joe beats Trump by less votes than any 3rd party candidate has then you are complicit in getting him into office.

I respectfully disagree. Even in the unlikely chance that Jorgenson got elected, she still wouldn't have a majority in the Congress that would work with her. And after looking at her solutions as president, the ones I agree with are the ones Trump is already working on or has already solved.

It all comes down to a few states that are close.
Florida for example.
If he is in Cali or Illinois or new york it would make no difference.

Not voting for one idiot or another is not what I call a wasted vote..

Votes are wasted at the local level.
If you want a better president then you need to start at home.
Until the two party system is dismantled from the bottom up all we will ever get is the same two parties.

You voted for someone with no chance of winning which does nothing but ease your conscious.. Not that that is a bad thing.
But the important question is did you do the same with the lower tier positions?
Mayor?
Senate?
Congress?

I did. I take each vote I cast seriously and chose the candidate I felt best suited for the position. I am. OT a Democrat, or Republican, or a libertarian for that matter. I refuse to label myself as one “thing” because my values can’t be lumped up into one parties platform.
