Ah thanks. I like metal, but I don't really know bands. Got a giant playlist, hear a song I like, add it to the playlist. When a song comes on, unless it's like oldschool stuff like hatebreed or megadeth from back when I cared enough to know what band it was, I probably can't tell you who is playing it lol.

I hear ya, man. I’m just a huge lover of music but certainly slant towards the heavier stuff and I’m always looking for something new and inspiring. Not sure if Periphery would be your thing as they’re hit or miss for me depending on the song. Some of their stuff is brilliant and other stuff I can’t stand. They belong to the newer genre of music called “djent” (pronounced GENT) which got it’s name from the guitar sounds, which are low-tuned and often played in a start/stop/muted pattern that sounds like “djent djent, djent djent”....it started as a joke and turned into a genre. Meshuggah is really the band that kicked all that off.

So we’re on topic-

I hate seeing a metalhead in the news like this. The media still loves to bag on metal music as if we’re filled with a bunch of crazy extremist, meanwhile, 95% of lyrics in the metal genre are about self-reliance and overcoming life’s BS. (Well, until you get into some death/black metal) I wonder how long it is until this dolt’s musical choices start being tossed into the mix.

I’m getting a kick out of the finger pointing on here. Dude’s got an anarchy flag that’s been the symbol for anarchy since the 70’s and now it’s an antifa symbol? Why the hell would an antifa idiot want to kidnap a democrat mayor? They’re the ones allowing those idiots to run free in their cities.

Might have more to do with his videos calling Trump the enemy rather than just flags, symbols and banners...but that is just me.

They're already doing that.

Right-wing domestic terrorists like this have already killed over 40 people this year.

Wow, so you are saying right wing terrorists are less deadly than bath tubs then? I am not really scered of right wing terrorism anymore, thanks!

The plot supposedly encompassed Ohio too although it was to start in Michigan.

Oh, they busted a bunch of man-children larping around in the woods. Great job fbi.

They weren't just LARPing out in the woods, homie. Read the FBI complaint and get off the "Oh, twas nothing lulz." They were more than just talking # in the woods shooting tin cans off a fricking fence.

Pay close attention to the bottom of Page 12. They were essentially staking out the house, in person. LARPers my ass, you guys do need to get off that willful stupidity ASAP, because it wasn't "nothing". Had someone not squealed to the feds, there's a strong degree of probability an attempt at minimum would have gone down by now.

Edit: Despite the above, I'm still not completely convinced it doesn't have D fingerprints all over it. Martyrs of all flavors tend to fire up supporters like no other.

But they’re anti-Trump so they MUST be anti-republican too. I mean, if they’re antifa, then that’s par for the course, isn’t it?

They were anti-government. That doesn't mean 'ant-Democrat government" or anti-Trump government" or just 'anti-Republican government'; it means they didn't like the government period. Do I think that means they might be in with ANTIFA/BLM on things to some extent? Possibly to the extent that BLM/ANTIFA wants to destroy the current government. Does that mean I think they want to install a communist/Marxist style system like BLM/ANTIFA seems to be in favor of? No because they are also against strong-arm government tactics to the extent that the taste of tyranny doled out by the lock downs apparently set them off.

I was convinced they were likely right-wingers too.

But they aren't.

A few of them are seeming like anti trump guys, didn't at least one of them have a photo with a trump 2020 flag though? Antifa also tried to burn down the democrat's apartment in portland too, forcing him to go live in one of his other houses so who knows haha

If they were the traditional right wing as in conservatives like everyone here wants so desperately to make them, they'd be working to restore constitutional governance, but instead, it's just government hate, and any kind of government hate.

That's what it looked like to me originally. But I was dumb enough not to give it the time required to pan some information out.

Some people are just clinging to a particular political narrative because they think it will hurt them somehow to be wrong.

I can assure everyone here, it does not hurt you in any way to be wrong on the internet. I do it all the time and I am still here.

Unlikely.

I believe they were simply planning a citizen's arrest, under MI law that isn't illegal and elected officials are NOT exempt. They even concede she/they were going to be tried, why are you all assuming they meant illegally....?

Hope their defense runs with it.

Regardless, it is what it is. Not getting upset over this when there are actual factual traitors still on the loose (and some running for office/sitting)

The reality is that traitors to our Constitution *do* need rounded up and given fair trials in accordance with established US and state laws.

Over the past month I've watched the average covid case count go from 600 a day to 700 then 800 and now it's up to 900.

...because they are mad at her. The Governor that shut everything down. Their first meeting was in Ohio and DeWine (quite the subject of justified ire) is a Republican (RINO actually). Yes, there were whispers on DeWine as well. And some of those are JoJo fans...what do you think of that?

Exactly! Alleged Attempts is the best way to describe the sophistry and propaganda that comes from FBI.

All the FBI does is frame people and create crime themselves. The gullible media repeats it, no questions asked.

This case reminds me of what happened at the Murrah Building.

SO what?

Ask yourself why they aren't telling you about hospitalizations and deaths from COVID anymore. It's one thing to get a disease; viruses can be highly contagious, but isn't it more worrisome if those people are also being hospitalized and/or dying?

And yet, they aren't telling about that, only about how many people test positive for it. There's a reason for that, and you might want to think about it.
