And there's also the fact that pretty much the first act he took as President involved having the DOJ cover up evidence that exonerated the protesters arrested at his inauguration.

Both of those seem pretty unconstitutional.

Proof in the proverbial pudding that it wasn't the militia groups behind it was the fact someone squealed like a Deliverance piggy to the authorities, when a group WAS approached. That's not characteristic of co-conspirators.

Small correction, that's an anarchist sign I think, not antifa flag. Not that there isn't some overlap with those two groups.

They are a mixed bunch. All of them belonged to a militia, but none of them belonged to the same militia. Left wing groups have their militias too, btw. They came from different states. The one thing they all had in common was a dislike of how their respective state governments had handled the lock downs.

Apparently, the plan was to try to recruit more people, and I think at least one of the guys in Michigan tried to recruit his militia, but that's about as far as that went.

So, yeah, I think they're likely a fairly mixed bag in some respects. But this is what happens when you lock down your citizens and they don't take kindly to it. It might be different if there actually were a killer disease roaming around
