- what is the media exactly doing?

- is there MSM *anywhere else* which does this differently? Which did you check?

- is there a special interest group behind the media you despise? Could that be narrowed down to a single person/entitiy (with sources, not just useless name-calling)?

- would you quote percentages of population watching these sources so we can verify if it is indeed "Mainstream" media? (incl. sources)

I tried to be as neutral as possible with these points.

I don't really know what to think about it at this point. I do not believe that the Michigan Militia itself is involved in this. I can believe that some members would, on their own, possibly try to carry out a plan like this though. Something to keep an eye on this afternoon.

All enemies foreign and domestic... What Whitmer and other state leaders are doing and have been doing is causing too much unrest and keeping free Americans caged up will only lead to more episodes like this.

Something about this reminds me of the Obama admin where the FBI was thwarting some kind of attack every 6 weeks. It mostly seemed to be some poor mentally ill person that THEY radicalized and handed a cell phone detonator or guns to just before busting them.

Wait, so they actually had to blow up the bridges, kidnap people, kill law enforcement and try to incite a civil war before it can be labeled? I thought cells are busted all the time before they actually do something.

And you are claiming that they planned on doing this even though they have the same views? This is domestic terrorism. Just because you agree with it does not make it invalid. If you want to label Antifa and arrest a group of them planning a similar thing that is also accurate.

People are arrested daily? You have not seen that? They broke Jacob Blake's mother's arm arresting her yesterday because she was there protesting past curfew. They have released those that post bond and had a non violent charge, however anyone arrested for destruction of property or a violent crime is still prosecuted.

Is it a true story...I’m going to say yes. There are elements that were mentioned such as the first meeting in Dublin, Ohio (suburb of Columbus and home of the first Wendy’s if you like trivia) in July. I know the vibe and climate that was going on then at that time in Columbus. Actual militias were a little more proactive at that timeframe. Recruiting was up. Words were being said...mostly by those that want to live that militant fantasy than legit militiamen.

Even I had to dial back my sarcasm at the time for fear people would act upon it. Keep in mind, people were outside Amy Acton’s (former Ohio Director of Health and Gov. DeWine’s puppet for declaring edicts sans the Legislature) front yard and taunting her and her family to come out.

As for articles claiming these clowns were part of the actual Michigan Militia, no. The Michigan Militia has boatloads of retired law enforcement officer and mutual aid agreements with both the Indiana Militia and the Ohio Unorganized Militia, an unannounced and unauthorized FBI raid against any of those groups would have turned into Armageddon in the Midwest. Those three are somewhere in the 35000-55000 range combined...considering sub-groups.
