Do you have a source for that and confirmation from the public records of the Italian Government and the Papacy that this actually occurred? In their Unidentified History Channel series they did they show the visit to Italy and a lot of things were embellished. They pretended they had Italy's UFO files and then Zondo displayed a picture of various UFO types that actually came from a model kit company on his laptop. The idiot. Or maybe taking the viewers to be idiots.

I wouldn't trust any such statement without solid corroborating evidence.

This is quite amusing. Even if just to see Nick Pope back behind a desk like in the old days....

Despite the new show on TV, Skinwalker may have found some anomalies (though I wouldn’t believe them) but
Skinwalker is a farce as a spooky place. Guys get headaches and some energy anomalies, and that's about it.

Give the NYP guy credit. He seems so far to at least be willing to expose these UFO-related hoaxes by the US GOV IC groups and their AAWSAP/ ATTIP/TTSA / enablers/ and ufo sensation peddlers nonsense.

Yes and that story is a false one too. The Canneto di Caronia fires were caused by Antonino Pezzi and his son Giuseppe in a bizarre attempts to make it seem there was a strange phenomenon occurring in the area.

Did a thread on the incidents once and the Government investigative task force also discovered that USB drives and computers were malfunctioning; cars were locking and unlocking on their own and that compasses didn't work (wherever you put them).

The team also discovered massive, repeated pulses of electromagnetic energy (which they concluded were not caused by natural events) and speculated that the intense EM bursts were responsible for generating the fires (and were perhaps part of some kind of secret military experiment).

Apparently hundreds of explosive bursts of E.M. energy were discovered each lasting only a fraction of a second and lead investigator Francesco Venerando stated the emissions reached a magnitude of '15 gigawatts'.

I only remember that ufologists and journalists had talked about it. I don't think there are documents on this ... true or false? We only have confirmation from Delonge.
However, no hidden secrets emerge, only confirmations ... The case of Canneto has been widely discussed

After reading that it actually makes me even more suspicious. Especially with Zondo's job being one of protecting military assets.

Back in his TTSA days when he very rarely spoke publicly, he also visited Brazil (where the Colares events are widely known too). I don't think he's fluent in Italian or Portuguese so why visit these places and not in North America?

I want to give you some explanations, maybe you will understand my doubt about th CUN conference
Look at the numbers of the CUN Italia youtube channel
The most visited video is the one of the conference with Delonge and Elizondo, 5000 visits in 3 years
The conferences of the CUN are always deserted, nobody follows their news.
Now I ask you: do you think Delonge and Elizondo came to Italy to give a conference at CUN?
If you listen to the lecture (4 hours) you will immediately understand that 5 minutes were enough to summarize it.
After that conference, the world of ufology wondered why Delonge and Elizondo came to Italy.
Perhaps the reason was another ...

The CUN is reputed to be pro-government, over time the CUN has always criticized other ufologists such as Malanga, Baiata, Chiumento (ufologists known only in Italy) telling the ufology according to the wishes of the Italian air force.
If there has been a secret meeting, the CUN will certainly never say it

You know zondo will probably make a nice buck from his book. I won't buy it or read it, but he might still like the few ufo books that make big money.

So, Tom DeLonge and the rest of his band were on the USS Nimitz in 2003, about a year before the 2004 USS Nimitz UFO incident that DeLonge and his TTSA organization would become famous for promoting years later in 2017 or so?
