I'd not give Mufon the time of day, nor many of the folks in it. I did not always think this. At least the pervert Jan Harzan is no longer involved. Though there are probably more of his kind hiding in the shadows .

I couldn't have done it without everyone else on ATS that took part and it was nice to meet some real mirage men at the award ceremony.

I thought they were all offering me a slice of cake or something. They all kept muttering "piece of....?" at me under their breath without ever finishing the sentence for some reason.

Those 'tic tacs' are generally the out of focus back end of a jet plane.

It would seem.

You can create all manner of orbs and ufos with both a very cheap,
or a very expensive camera or radar sensing system.

When did they get rid of the academy term and when did they first start nixing ufos?

Apparently the physical scientists left the outfit, when the money spigot dried up, and
when it was finally determined that all 'this' was 'about consciousness', and the spooked-up
guys left when the mind-control attempt over the youth was seen to have failed.

You can't sell consciousness --- that's called religion, and christiantiy,
islam and other religons have the franchise on that... while 'UFOs'
can be sold as religion, apparently that effort failed to some degree
(the 'youth' were never 'mind controlled' to a useful degree).

That cloud machine-learnig website is trying to use classical data
analysis methods on irrational data sets.. I can't belive those guys
think they will get something from that method. But it definitley
proves they are still interested in 'consciousness'.

Looking at the source data available on that site, I absolutely agree.

They've collated MUFON, NUFORC, Blue Book and even UK UFO reports plus Canada and Brazil. Most of which is available (if not always easy to collect) in the public domain. Yet you need to pay $1.99 or $9.99 each month for the privilege of accessing this data.

I get that someone has to host the data and the set up the various back end and web interface elements to query the data. But there is the huge problem of GIGO (garbage in, garbage out).

Many of those reports are undoubtedly mispereception and are a waste of time investigating and thus skew the data set.

There's also a report form for them to collect sightings from the public with some very stringent terms and conditions of being a member.

MUFON, NUFORC, various government bodies and 'Big' Bobelow have collected reports for decades. There seems to be plenty of data input. But there has been very little of meaningful output (or in Bob's case non-existent).

So what's different this time? Or are they just trying to get everyone else to do the analysis and provide the sightings data so Uncle Sam can see if his and his adversaries' toys were and still are being mistaken for UFOs?

According to the TTS SEC Filings it was the 28th Sept 2021

The academy never really existed. No one ever studied there and UFOs were never mentioned as part of the TTSA business model in their official filings.

TTSA was registered as "Services-Allied To Motion Picture Production" and TTS remains in that business category!

But it was all part of the PR assault. Which was undoubtedly funded from the cash invested donated by gullible people who thought TTSA was all about UFO disclosure. Somehow believing that someone who left his job in the government could be secretly briefing government officials and Senators based out of his beach hut in Encinitas for years on end.

How does that actually work?

TTSA's 'real' mission was and is to 'weaponize ignorance'.

Now, sure, there were some people who really believed in 'anomalous research'
(I know there was.. i knew two of them).

If something 'wild' could be 'proven' - all the better; but it couldn't be..
and as everyone saw, there was never any care, whether a slide showed
a 'UFO' or a 'party balloon first photographed in Mancheter, England".

TTSA was ALWAYS an entertainment (& 'influencer of the young attempt')
from day one, and the fact 'UFO and paranormal fan boys' emptied out
their wallets and went 'all in' on social media, only proved how easily
deceived they have always been, even pre-TTSA.

I have no problem with the usual exploitation of ufology for entertainment’s sake. Well, maybe I do but it’s nothing new.
It’s like the Oak Island treasure hunt: an impossible dream. But it’s interesting to see them go from a supposed academic like ufo hunting org to this shell of nothing or confused self-conscious basically moribund group.

I too always said from the beginning Delonge wanted to make some kind of Steven Spielberg, Star Wars plus the Disneyland of the alien’s type multi-billion entertainment empire, with warm, CETK type family alien-ufo wonderland output for the ages.

A silly dream. But it could be done. Not with the CIA behind you though, or his methodology.

What he doesn’t understand is you have to build such from the bottom, not the top. Like Walt Disney did. In other words, do something, create a Mickey mouse or Donald duck, and make it big and simple first, then go complex. But he started from complexity: ufology... so he failed.

Whatever ufology is, it is complex.

I guess poet Anderson is his Mickey mouse...
