SourGrapes... I have been thinking about this for a while... it seems like everything that is happening is getting us ready to "beg" for martial law. Why? Something from above? Rumors of civil war (no matter which side "wins")? I tell you - some days it could feel like any of the possible answers but it does feel like "they" (whoever "they" may be) are preparing us to get ready to live with a constant state of lockdown and armed "security" at every corner.

it seems unbelievably clear to me that he's not talking about him and his group of sinister riot plotters making an evil plan to come specifically to your specific suburb and set your house on fire to steal your favourite chair. That's such a ridiculously paranoid read that it genuinely bothers me how much of overwhelming response it's been here.
what he's really saying is that the underlying problems that have caused this are not exclusive to the inner cities. That's where it's boiled over because it's easier to get a mass of people there, but the frustration is being felt everywhere. including the suburbs. and if it's not addressed it's going to keep getting worse.

Last night there were riots in my city. I'm in Reno. This is a coordinated attack on America. Someone is pulling the strings.

I don't care what you think this guy said. Regular people are under threat right now. Businesses are being destroyed by leftists who couldn't let COVID19 have all the fun.

This is something there have been protests about for decades, and it's been building to confrontation like this for a long long time.
This isn't something new.
There have been calls to address this stuff for years, but always written off as virtue signalling or attention seeking or not the time and place for the issue. I've seen so much derision for peaceful protests on ats over the years.
But now that it's finally - finally spilled over into violence (started by the cops might i add), all of a sudden there's some mysterious puppet master telling everyone what to do and everyone just blindly races to obey?

Oh, please, these have all been planned and there are coordinated patterns of behavior to them. Out of town/state agent provotcateurs come in and incite either pushing the crowd or causing mayhem the police cannot ignore and create the chaos we're seeing.

The locals in their communities have recognized these people don't belong in some instances, and in others, the opportunists have simply been more than the locals who only want to air their grievances.

This has been planned and coordinated and the sooner the group or groups behind this are brought to justice, the better for all of us. We can get back to actual protesting and griping back and forth at each other. Out of such things, sometimes we do manage to hear each other.
