I'm enjoying a bit of irony today.

CNN called those looting, burning etc. "protestors".

Their film crew, doing what they legally and freely can do, are actually arrested.

It was wrong, outrageous, illegal, but I'm enjoying a little laugh at their expense.

Turns out it is just what it appeared to be and cnn is owed more than an appology from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D).

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) on Friday apologized to CNN President Jeff Zucker after reporter Omar Jimenez and his camera crew were arrested in Minneapolis, with the governor promising a prompt release of the news organization's employees.

TheHill
This Governor better get his act together, first his fascist thugs murder a citizen for no real reason, now he has his brown shirt state police arresting the press.
Good job Gov. Zeig Heil!

Wasn't that the name of the Mayor of New Orleans a few years ago.

Oh wait, that was Nagin. Poor memory.

Thank you AM. I needed that ...

Untrue.

I know local reporters in five states who diligently work their beats for struggling newspapers and report on school boards, city hall, etc.

Not sure why anyone wouldn't get the irony of that. Unless of course they were distracted by something like side-boob or whatever.

State police.

They operate on a chain of command.

Who the hell gave the order to arrest the guys?

Answer that for the person that should get either the credit or the blame.

On topic.

This looks scary and everything but it's CNN.

They create false scenarios all the time.

If this is genuine then it serves them right for crying wolf too many times.

Seriously though, I smell a dirty great rat. 🐀

There is a difference between reporting and narrating in order to incite violence. Who actually calls CNN a legitimate news agency anyway.

Millions.

Just like the millions that think Fox News Channel is a legitimate source. (NEWS is right there in the name!!!)

Both are mere vessels of the corporate elite.

Everyone is a reporter. Record everything with your phone. LEOs abuse, heroism, donuts, everything. You can streame it straight to almost any social media site and sometimes to your local station. And if it's interesting and current $$$$.

Be a nightcrawler/stringer

I use a DSLR with a telephoto, kit lens 18-135mm, video capability, and wifi as well. For good sound plug in a mini shotgun mic.

You know, I could be cute and answer "Check his tax returns."

But I won't. The Trump Organization secured a loan in 2012 with around $211 million from the Bank of China.

Since that time, even though court records vary, according to the Bank of China they do not currently hold an interest in any Trump properties.

I'm sure there are other funds invovled though. Some people are saying ...
