Someone at work has just returned to work (yesterday) after being isolated at home because his son had tested positive for covid.
Before Christmas his wife had covid so he was isolated at home with his wife and kids.......husband, son and daughter did not catch it.
I asked him if he wore a mask at home when his son and wife had covid.......the answer was no. He told me that he slept with his wife and cuddled his son when they had covid.

He and his daughter did not catch covid.........even though they were all locked up together.....not social distancing.....no masks.

How come no one else in the family of 4 contracted covid in the two instances where covid was in the home?

I personally know 3 separate families where this happened too, I live with one of the 3 families.

You talk about live and let live, but they're not, are they? If the virus is real then they're forcing the other shoppers to breath their crap in. One could even stretch the definition of that to assault.

I wouldn't be on ATS if i didn't believe tptb a capable of evil acts and conspiracy. If Covid's real and not a psy-op, i don't doubt that our masters will try to exploit the situation to gain more gold. But until i become an immunology expert with eyes or ears to the real info, then i'll respect my fellow human beings write to live, even if it means a little sacrifice.

Note: the pertinent research in the mask debate is that while wearing one offers low protection, it offers high protection to others if you happen to have the virus.

The wife got her second dose today of Moderna, so we will see how that goes. I starting asking around nurses and doctors I know about reactions and they are seeing a few interesting trends, especially with Moderna.

No issues in older populations, tolerated well, no significant systemic symptoms after either vaccine. Under 40 is another story, the second dose is really messing with people. Systemic symptoms that worsen as age decreases, makes me worry about kids and this vaccine.

Another recommendation I am seeing is getting the second dose in the same arm as the first, probably because adaptive immune cells will still be active in the region. I would be curious if there is any impact with dosing in the opposite arm with systemic symptoms, I don’t see it messing with immunity much but I suppose it could slightly decrease it or make the symptoms last longer and be less severe maybe.

Wife got the same symptoms I got after the second vaccine. Seems to be pretty common, even the healthcare people I know are talking about it quite a bit. Still not hearing anything firsthand about people dying or getting permanently damaged.

I've been in contact with many people who tested positive for Covid. Pretty sure I never got it, and if I did it wasn't noticeable.

No, that’s absolutely wrong, your cells will break down the mRNA from the vaccine pretty quickly. It doesn’t modify genes in our cells or change our genome. It modifies gene expression, gene expression is the generation of proteins from genetic material. All vaccines do this in some capacity, otherwise we would not develop immunity from them. Viruses do it to but it could potentially be worse than a vaccine if the right sequence of events occurs.

It is a vaccine though, it is the evolution of vaccines. We are reaching the point where we can make targets much more specific and safer for the patient. We are going to see mRNA, self amplifying RNA, plasmid DNA, DNA subunit, and CRISPR vaccines. Those should replace the older whole virus, recombinant, subunit, attenuated, inactivated and adjuvant vaccines. Less ingredients, more specific, easier to produce, better immunogenicity, and once they fine tune them, they will be safer.

In this case, with this virus, mRNA is the only approved vaccine that has not produced ADE and had high efficacy with a second exposure in trials. All others have with SARS like coronaviruses. With all the new studies going on, I hope that continues. It’s really the only chance they have to slow it down and let the world reset while reducing the danger of mutations.

You will see the same thing happen with cancer, viral, autoimmune, bacterial, and other infections with those types of treatments. We are fighting a losing evolutionary battle with microorganisms and the goal is to work with the host to target the weak point and prevent the development of resistance. Antibiotics and antivirals are on their way out, maybe even parasite drugs. It’s really the only way to proceed at this point.

Wife is better, she had a fever of 104, severe headaches, sensitive to light, huge swollen lymph nodes, 2 or 3 on that same side. Sub clavicular was an odd one, usually you only see that with autoimmune or cancers, maybe severe lung infection. She does have a thyroid issue so maybe that is related. Her muscles were very sore, not her joints and she was really tired. Those symptoms lasted about 36 hours, she still has a headache but is fine otherwise. Mine lasted 3 days with the fog finally lifting after 4 or 5 days. Just like being sick. She actually had some redness and bruising around the vaccine site and inflammation. This indicates extensive uptake by muscle tissue before antigen presenting cells and this was a problem in one of the studies I read, wish I remembered which one. It also indicates she still had quite a few adaptive immune cells still in the tissue that quickly responded to the injection.

As the title says after some high ranking people caught and died from the Virus it scared the rest into action to find a treatment NOW and not wait a year for a maybe it will work and not kill you vaccine.

That's assuming that these vaccine's, along with the virus haven't been in development via a slush fund for a decade already. In which case it wouldn't be experimental, because the outcome is already known.

When you take a step back and look at the UK, it's bordering on suspicious that the Gov's containment strategies have gotten absolutely everything wrong without fail, leading the world in death rate and incompetence. Yet they've apparently hit a perfect bullseye with their truly 'world beating' vaccine rollout.

Is this the same government? Was there some kind of an epiphany, or divine intervention in the Tory leadership? All of a sudden they know how to do all the things that they were utterly incapable of up until the vaccine deployment.

Maybe it's hokum, but one scenario that fits this unfolding of events perfectly is that they wanted as many infections as possible, so they could inject as many as possible. Hoping that is indeed fantasy fare!
