You do know men and women can contract HIV from each other by having sex too, right?

Finding a man in his 30's unresponsive and dead from covid is worrying,... but the 2x NSW schools being shut down because 2 kids were found infected must petrify parents.
2? 2 whole kids? Out of how many millions?
Petrified? No. Just no. Please STFU with the fear-mongering.
PLEASE.

Not fear mongering - a valid statement in a pandemic!

You do know that there are millions of people living on this planet that 'have HIV' but no symptoms... ever.
Right?

It’s as legitimate as it gets for those 2 people and their loved ones.
Seeing those other people suffer that way creates an empathic response and concern for your own. That’s normal and entirely part of the human condition... for most of us, at least!

Probably also gay (from the wording in the article of how 'his partner' found him), which also usually - but not always - means a significantly depressed immune system. Sorry, no apologies, it is a fact, and no, I'm not homophobic, just a realist.
My stance on hydroxychloroquine is neutral, so I'm not for it or against it, but people using it might want to be aware of these reports of heart problems when used to treat COVID-19, since this is a COVID-19 thread:

A huge hydroxychloroquine eye opener!

The FDA is aware of reports of serious heart rhythm problems in patients with COVID-19 treated with hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine, often in combination with azithromycin and other QT prolonging medicines. We are also aware of increased use of these medicines through outpatient prescriptions. Therefore, we would like to remind health care professionals and patients of the known risks associated with both hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine. We will continue to investigate risks associated with the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine for COVID-19 and communicate publicly when we have more information.

For perspective:
1279 US deaths related to COVID-19 on 5/22.
2362 US deaths due to abortion per day (2017 estimate)
As of 2015, the number of reported deaths related to abortions had decreased to just 2

Erm.......how, exactly, does having feelings of attraction towards the same gender depress your immune system? Or are you just assuming that gay=HIV positive?
HIV doesn't cause AIDS - in case you are still confused about that.
AIDS was predominant in the gay community because they predominantly engaged in very risky behavior that had a dramatically negative impact on their immune systems - mostly drugs in the form of 'poppers' and needles.
Do gay people no longer use a lot of drugs?
