Verizon dropped out then returned after a few minutes but required a restart to get picture on cable; sound only. Internet OK after hiccup.

I don't remember anything happening and I've been on my computer/in front of the TV (streaming) all day.

I had 70+ peeps on a Conf call/webex from AZ/CO/WY from 10am-noon with no issues.

I am currently having issues posting on ATS from my PC. It fails every time. ISP is Frontier. I can only post from mobile phone on Verizon. Something is going on.

No outage for me in Cream City.

ATS times out a lot for me lately. Images won't show (again) because they're timing out. This is the only site I have trouble with. Every other site loads at speed. Definitely not my fiber line. From about 10 minutes to the hour it does it, and again around the half hour mark. Not sure if ATS is having issues with bandwidth, or if they've doubled their backups, or if its somewhere else along the lines, but I can guarantee its not me.

Whatever it is, I'm sure ALL providers will throttle under the pretense the infrastructure cannot handle the load, which we know is bull pucky.

Pretty sure Trump just mentioned suicide rates will skyrocket if the economy isn't fixed soon. Well, allow Portland to lead the way.

As far as I know, stuff like that has been a persistent issue since the site did some pretty big changes years ago.

Couldnt tell ya when that happened, maybe 5-6 years(?), but yeah.. I think it was around that time that stuff like the little mailbox icon started acting up too.

Overall, I think it was a good change, but its certainly not without its issues.

Eta: Seems more widespread than usual though

Corona Con over by Easter? Apr 12th.

I think the economy can survive until then. Small businesses that are closed during this Con should be performing infrastructure actions.

- top to bottom cleaning (esp food places)
- clear out and organize storage
- formulate strategy when Con lifts
- maintain social media presence

Use the down time to accomplish projects that are tough to do during normal operations.

Trump is still viscious, even during this.

I agree, issues started arising around then. But I only ever experienced a minor hiccup around the half hour mark every hour, presumed it was due to archiving, and a few others did as well in these threads.

This is entirely different issues for me. Inages never failed to load. When I mean images I mean images hosted by ATS -- uploaded shared images, avatars, banners, anything on-site hosted. I've never had an issue with any of that until a week or so ago. Nothing with my equipment has changed at all. Just seems odd. It almost feels as if ATS is victim of a DDoS, but only periodically, if that makes sense.

I was thinking the same. Every Armed Service branch, Navy, AF, Marines, Army, Pentagon/DoD has a GHOST Division. Most notably imo is the CIA SAD in which some of those members really are "Ghosts."

Couldn't post on ATS for about 30 mins. I could surf it, just couldn't post.

Can you imagine how Society would collapse if we are in lock down with NO Internet?
